False advertising at .02 cents per black copy. Apparently that is only a price if you make a lot of copies. I was making packets of 24 pages with 55 copies but that wasn’t enough. When I questioned the $136 pricing, the owner told me “he wasn’t going to play this game with me,” “that he can’t believe that [he] is starting off [his] New Year like this.” and that “it was written on the door” and that “[I’m] a teacher and [I] should be able to read it.” I looked up this business on google and it doesn’t say that on the website. In fact, their website says, “Black and White copies as low as 2 cents and Color copies as low at 15 cents! “The owner told me I was “rude” for questioning the word “instant” in the name when he told me I could drop off the copies and pick them up tomorrow morning because he told me he was leaving by 2 pm although the hours on google say open until 5 pm. After I questioned the word “instant,” he told me there would be someone else at the store beyond 2 pm. When I was in the store, the employee was very friendly but he stopped making my copies halfway through at the instruction of the owner when I questioned the price of the copies. In an altercation with the owner, he threatened to call the cops on me, and told me to get out of his store. He would not even finish my copies and let me pay the exorbitant price for which he was asking. I was making the copies for my students should the xerox machine that was broken before Christmas not be fixed when we return to school tomorrow. In our argument, he made several rude comments such as “that he doesn’t care that I’m teacher” and that I “should leave and never come back.” All for what? Because as a paying customer, I’m questioning pricing? And then upon leaving his store, he thought it was appropriate to leave a parting shot as he locked the door, that I “should not wear yoga pants.” This owner does not understand anything about truthful advertising or customer service or to handle business with a smile. I told him I was going to write to the Better Business Bureau and that is exactly what I have done. Know that if you go to this place, you will be paying .10 cents for B&W copies, not .02 cents. The owner is misogynistic, patronizing, unfriendly, and uncaring.

I had a last minute job that needed printing and didn't have the time or the resources to do it myself. I checked on the website of a big box office supply store to see how much they'd charge, and the cost was very prohibitive. I'm not sure why I had assumed going to a local printer would cost more, but I decided to take a chance and reached out to Rockland Instant Copy Center. Not only was I pleasantly surprised by how affordable the estimate was, but the owner, Keith, was very professional and helpful. The job actually ended up changing to something a bit more complicated than what I originally had called about, but Keith and his crew handled it with ease. I am so thankful to them for being so accommodating and quick with turn-around especially when I was under a tight deadline; they made an already hectic week MUCH less stressful. I will definitely be using them again for any future print work and highly recommend them for anyone needing printing services!
