About 2 months ago, I went to another auto shop for an oil change but they told me my car couldn't pass inspection because of a taillight issue. They would like to charge over $150 to fix it to pass the inspection. But I recalled last year that my car passed inspection in spite of the issue they told me. From then on, I have been trying to find a garage that I can trust. Thanks to my friend's help, I found this place. The inspection and oil change were quickly done without any upselling. Definitely recommend!

I called for an appointment. I talked to person by name James. He said they don't accept any new customers only existing customers. It was very bad experience from that conversation.

I’ve owned multiple vehicles for nearly 50 years as a driver. 20 years of which I’ve used Rickland Auto , James. The absolutely best , fairest and most service oriented repair shop I’ve ever used. James is a hands on owner that understands both cars and people. He has baled me out of multiple situations many times when time was of the essence, like when my kids had to be back in school quickly or a vacation that I needed a repair immediately. James is well priced and considers the safety of your vehicle of paramount importance. I really can not say enough about him. I've lived in 4 states and moved countless times. Ive seen alot of mechanics. But James and the guys ar Rockland Auto Repair are honest, good guys. I've been going here for 7 years. I live in NJ, and I get my car repaired here. Its worth the trip.
