On October 30, I called and asked for a wash/ trim and was told that it was $25. I went to the shop and Sheila asked me if I was the one who called for the wash, and I said yes. As soon as I sat down on the chair, she started venting to me about how one of her clients didn't want to pay for the full wash set for their weave. She also stated that the client didn't properly wash their hair and only wanted a roller set because they were too cheap to pay for the full amount. I thought that was very unprofessional! Sheila kept asking me about my studies, which I thought was nice at first but she was testing my knowledge. Sheila even asked me how I paid my tuition at St. John's University and she jokingly said that my parents must be rich after I told her that I wasn't working. I felt very uncomfortable! After she finished my hair, I asked her how much the service was, just to confirm and she said "60" in a low tone of voice. I told Sheila that the lady I spoke to stated that it was $25 and she said every stylist charges different prices....So the owner charges $25 and Sheila charges $60 and they use the same exact products. I'm confused to why the owner charges less?! That doesn't make sense at all! I feel like I was overcharged and she took advantage of me. Honestly the wash, condition, and trim was not worth $60. Natural sisters hair salon only charges $45 included treatment and they are known for natural hair. Shame on you Sheila!

Sheila is great. She is wonderful with children's haircuts. She is super fast and that is a big plus when cutting a squirming child's hair.
