I can't say enough about the exceptional care we received from Best Friends Veterinary during a particularly difficult time. When our beloved dog at the age of 15 needed to move on, they provided compassionate and supportive guidance.
Dr. Glanzberg, was very compassionate and truly remarkable. Her empathy and understanding made an incredibly challenging situation bearable. She explained everything clearly and patiently, ensuring we felt informed and supported throughout the process.
We've been entrusting the care of our pets to Best Friends Veterinary for many years, and their consistent level of excellence has never wavered. Their entire team is knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated to the well-being of animals, even in the most difficult of circumstances. I wholeheartedly recommend Best Friends Veterinary to anyone seeking the best for their pet.

Everyone at BFV from front desk staff, to the vets, vet assistants, etc. are always so kind, knowledgeable, and patient with my very nervous dog and myself. 100% recommend!

My cats are my reason I live, and while I hate bringing them to the vet in general, I am so at ease when they’re in BFAC’s care. The place is clean, friendly, easy to work with, and they all clearly love animals. I’ve never felt ripped off either, which is easy to feel when you get a vet bill, I’ve always felt treated fairly. Highly recommend!

This is the worst veterinarian office.
We lost our beloved Sophie, a 9 year old Labrador due to the lack of information not provided to us for the past 3 years.
We have taken Sophie there for all check-ups but for the last 2 years she wasn’t the same. She stopped being playful, had a hard time getting up, and even greeting us.
Every time we took her to the vet, we explained our concerns to them; Sophie had two visits within a year with ear inflammation, and the vet didn’t show any concerns for the other symptoms she presented.
They told us that was normal because she was old an little overweight. We were told to put her on a diet, but that everything was normal with her.
We continued noticing how Sophie’s health declined and having a hard time moving.
Another medical appointment was made but they didn’t have anything available until September 20th. We couldn’t wait since she was in a lot pain and crying all day and night.
We had to make an appointment at another place; within a day the new vet explained exactly why Sophie had those symptoms for the past 2 years.
They did blood work and X-rays. Then told us she had been suffering from arthritis for a long time.
They explained to us that some injections would help, but Sophie was too sick for the medication work properly.
If her vet would have done this for her when we started having concerns, I’m pretty sure she would be here with us.
Sophie’s condition got worse, and all the medication, injections, plus the thousands of dollars spent during that week didn’t help at all.
We took her to the emergency room at 4:00 a.m. due to her pain, but her arthritis was very advanced, She was suffering.
We decided that the best decision at that point was to put her to sleep and let her finally rest.
That was the most hard and difficult decision we had to make.
It was very hard for us to understand we must let her go. She was our only pet, she was part of our family.
I don’t understand how in 2 years her vet never realized she was having a case of arthritis. The many times we insisted on the matter. All those times we told them she was not the same and that her health was declining. Just to be told she was getting old but everything was fine.
If Sophie’s arthritis were treated on time, we probably would have more time with her. She wouldn’t have to suffer the way she did.
No wonder why she hated that place.
I hope no pet parent have to go through what we did.
I hope they really take their time to do their research about this office.
And I hope this vet take the time to do all the necessary tests and not just charge for the damn consultation and send you home with no help at all.

I LOVE this vet!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars they deserve 10! They are the best! Not only is their office clean, open, and inviting, but so is their staff. Our now 5 month old puppy went there for the first time a few weeks ago and had a BLAST! All the ladies loved on him and spoiled him which made my dog mama heart so happy. Our doctor was Dr. Lieberman she was so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable! She made my fiancé and I so at ease we will never go to anyone else!

I love Best Friends. I used to go to Smithaven Vet but I switched because of a very bad experience after using their practice for decades. I did not realize how unfriendly and used car salesman like Smithaven was until I went to Best Friends. The doctors there are friendly, actually enjoy working with animals and are happy to have you there. They also try to help work out a cost effective plan, rather than ginning up the costs like Smithaven. All in all a very pleasant experience and kind, knowledgeable and wonderful vets at Best Friends!

Great and attentive care is always given at this office.
They saved our dogs life. When she was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Quick intervention with diet and medicine.

We love all the doctors but Dr Shuman and Dr Rooney are the only docs that have treated my 2 puppies so far. I have been with this group for more than 10 yrs and they helped my Chloe so much. She was an epileptic poodle mix and thanks to these wonderful veterinarians she lived 13 yrs managed on meds. My new babies in the pic below just love seeing these doctors!
