I have intermittently used this pharmacy for pets and they have been great. Recently I switched my father’s meds over and it has been awesome. Always had a problem at another pharmacy getting his scripts filled. Nassau fills them quickly and efficiently. Thank you !

The pharmacist/owner doesn't know what she's doing when it comes to secondary insurance! She outright refuses to put through secondary insurance! I even had my primary insurance call her and explain how to put it through and she told them that she was returning my meds back to stock! She's unworkable to say the least and she isn't at all friendly! So much for your hometown pharmacy! We just moved here. I'll never go there again and I advise everyone NOT to go there!

Rude. Prescription was called 8 night before I came to pick up. Next morning wasn't ready, no biggie, however they didn't even tell me it wasn't ready just went on with her business, then told me my prescription wasn't covered. Argued with me about it. It was covered it was the copay that wasn't covered. The owner is exceptionally rude and generally unpleasant. I will be getting a different pharmacy and will N E V E R reccomend them.

We love this pharmacy! Friendly and VERY helpful pharmacist and staff. They don't make you feel like you're being milked for your insurance money like the chains (CVS!!).They also have a nice variety of health-related and other gifty items in the store.Recently added is a WONDERFUL curated craft beer selection!!! There's also a few wines to pick from.

I have used this pharmacy, most of the time, since the late 70's soon after they opened. Often they have been out of stock and there was a wait, but I want to support a local business so stayed with them. I have the state employees health plan, which has a fixed co-pay. Recently I picked up my prescription which has a co-pay listed as $60 and was charged $70, which I questioned. I called the plan, which agreed that was incorrect and called Nassau with the error, and I waited to hear. I didn't, so called today. The owner told me "that's what we charge" and if I don't like it I can go elsewhere. I have several nearby options and I certainly will. Wendy G.
