Grocery Stores
“I cook Indian food regularly for my family so a good Indian grocery store is a necessity. This one was recommended by multiple Indian friends, and I have been its loyal customer for a few years now. There are large selections for every category of food stuff that you will need. I regularly replenish my pantry and fridge with their spices, chutneys, legumes, nuts, basmati rice, paneer, yoghurt, masala naan, fenugreek roti, and snacks - oh the snacks! There are shelves after shelves of snacks! My children swear by their paras and my husband loves burning his mouth with extra hot Punjabi or Bombay mixes. I also love their produce section - you can always find the most beautiful okra at the start of the isle, and many varieties of veggies that can be used not just for Indian cooking, but also for Chinese or Japanese dishes. The owners are Sikh, so it's a vegetarian shop, which really suits this vegetarian writer and cook :-).”
“I'd like to thank the staff at Stop & Shop for their contributions to my event held for the fire at the Harvest House 14 Union Rd Spring Valley NY. Thank you Vinnie/ manager & your team staff.”
“I'm glad the area got an Aldi. It's true they don't have everything, but they have all your grocery essentials, you can't beat their prices, and there are some items where I prefer the Aldi brand, (hummus, Italian bread, organic spring mix, etc) You need a quarter for a cart (returned when you return the cart).”
