“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”

“This is my favorite. Barnes & Noble. I ever went to. It felt like a luxurious resort setting with a nice outdoor area. It was a great retreat someplace I could imagine spending a lot of time just hanging out at. I’m glad I’m a few towns away. I’ll probably be back.”
“Perfect place for an active toddler. Two different rooms to play in plus a classroom, tons of toys and activities. There are slides, climbing equipment, a small ball pit, and more. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and safe. My daughter and I will definitely be back!”

In person or online, guaranteed to make any model railroader smile.Open since '96, all my childhood trainsets came from Tom's. It is a toy store as we know it from earlier times and, in contrast to Schwarz, for example, a place where children can look around and choose something at their leisure.Among other things, there are board games, outdoor games, reading books, craft materials, Lego, Brio, Jelly Cat and many other brands.A little away from the tourist hotspots, you can shop like real New Yorkers here and combine this trip with Central Park.”

Look, I can't speak for the others, but this one sure is!We went into TP Toys looking for some toys that would keep our 8-month-old occupied on her first long road trip. Kemesha, the owner, walked us around the store and helped us find some gems. We even doubled back for a new Duplo set just 'cause it was so dang cute.We live a couple towns over, but we'll definitely be repeat customers! “Nice little bookstore, not an enormous selection, but they have a lot of current books, and some best sellers, and you can always ask them to get the book you're looking for. I usually find at least one book I'm interested in. Good children's section in the back as well, with cushions for the little ones to sit at and read. The people working there are always very friendly and helpful.”

“Recently redesigned the store after taking over the store next door. More space more options. This is my spot for power cords and snacks. I always find something I want and spend too much here. I go pretty regularly they just have what I need. Staff usually greet customers that come in. Inventory changes often so frequent visits to make sure I don't miss something good.”

“I'm so thankful to the staff there. The meeter/greeter was so pleasant in greeting me. And she thanked me for shopping there. That's a first for me and I was surprised. I cannot remember the young lady's name that helped me but I'm assuming she's a part of the management staff. She knew I had parked almost 3.5 blocks away and she told me to get my car and she's help me bring my rather large purchase put to my car. It felt good to get genuine pleasant vibes from customer service associates and staff.”
“I brought in my 35 year old Kirsten doll for some much needed TLC. The staff tightened her arms and legs and made her messy hair look fabulous. I can not thank them enough for giving new life to a doll that I thought was long gone. The staff was so kind and friendly and answered all my questions. Thank you thank you thank you!!!”

“It's a little bit pricey, but my kid had a lot of fun. At first, their system accepted my appointment at a private event. We had to wait for two hours until the event finished. My daughter was so disappointed since we came all the way from downtown Brooklyn. The staff apologized for the mixed up nicely, and as a software engineer, I know that technology is not reliable sometimes. So, I decided not to blame the store. Everyone there was so nice, my daughter really enjoyed her craft and said that she wanted to come back next time.But I'd recommend looking into the system issue since it was very disappointing at the beginning.”
