“My puppy was purchased from Silver Nickel Puppies from it's previous owner and rehomed to me. I had a few questions being a new fur baby mom and decided to call the store. I spoke to Sal who was amazingly welcoming and helpful; he answered ALL my questions. He gave me amazing recommendations on how to properly train my puppy. What I loved the most, is he remembered my puppy and he truly cared for my puppies' happiness.I would highly recommend purchasing your puppy from here. “Was recommended this place by a friend and it was delicious! Loved my French toast and the lavender mimosa was a nice hit of booze that I wasn't sure would work but did very nicely. Katie was our main server and she was adorable - we traded pet stories and she was super fast with everything. She even modified a dog dish for human consumption (which was a hilarious conversation) and didn't blink. Will be making my way back there for sure.”
“Love this place! I have come here to get supplies for my cats for the last 3 years since I moved to the area. They deliver for you and are amazingly helpful! And they have some things unavailable in other global chain pet stores. Recently, I was running late from work and was not sure if I would be home for the delivery. “Lovely experience. I popped in to see if they had any pink betta fish. Well maintained stock levels. Great owner? Staff! Very helpful and knowledgable. I went downstairs to see the turtle. I prefer this store to the big names as it has a better atmosphere. They care about the animals. I’m going back for some neon tetra. And to take some apples for the turtle whose name I forget.”

While the prices are a little higher than I typically go for the service and quality of their products 100% made up for it. Dawuan (I hope I spelled his name correctly) and Sebastian were incredibly helpful. They shared so much product detail with me, making me feel confident in my purchase. Their energy was infectious. They totally brightened up my day after having an awful day in the office. Thank you both for being so professional, patient and courteous. I think I will make this my go-to pet shop.”

“Great store, and employees are awesome. Only issue is they say they open at 11am, yet every time I go at or shortly after that time, the door is locked. Either update your posted hours, or be there to open at 11am! Would otherwise be 5 stars.”

“I have been buying from this store since it's inception... The friendly staff is knowledgeable about the merchandise and high end dog food. Miriam the groomer is wonderful, she treats my corgi with love and the cost is comparable . I needed a leash and harness for my Corgi who is difficult to fit. Sean ( the owner) immediately assisted me and presented a set that fit perfectly. So if you aren't happy with the prices I suggest that you try PetCo. Renting a store in BayTerrace is extremely expensive probably equivalent to Manhattan rates. I don't mind paying a little more for the customer service and quality merchandise. Thanks Sean! “Furry Paws has always been my go to for doggie merchandise. Today I was helping a friend looking for the booties for her dog for out in the cold and snow. The employee was so helpful showing me how they are packaged. She had various sizes for different breeds of dogs. It was listed on the package. They came in different colors made of a soft rubber and are disposable. She said she sells a lot of them for $19.99 a package. I left with a lot of information for my friend. It's up to her if she wants to get them or search online for a different style or price. I'm recommending Furry Paws if you live nearby. Save the puppies feet from pain in the ice and snow!”
“It is more than 20 miles away, half an hour drive even to the nearest location ( Scarsdale ) from my house so I had not been there for a long time. However, I received discount coupons in mail and I had been searching dog food for my picky eater, I decided to go even in torrential rain. A lady at the front greeted my husband and myself and offered for help. That was a very good impression. Furthermore, I noticed that the coupons were already expired to use, but she accepted them without any hesitation. ( Hope she won't get any trouble) The prices of the food I bought were less than I spent on Amazon. My dog liked the food very much. The trip to the store was a true worth for me.”

“Had a great experience with the vetco team today. I brought my baby winter in today with blatter stones, and right of the battle Justin and val were huge help in calming my worries. Shekinah was very kind and thorough with taking all of our info and Dr. Persaud was very sweet and explained everything to me in a way I could easily understand. He did unfortunately need an xray but Marco and shekinah said he did a great job and we're just so sweet to my boy. I'll definitely be bringing my cats back!”
