This place was fantastic? Super hipster and delicious, also cool wine and spirits and local ice cream? The social scene here was popping on a Saturday and the food was off the chain. I got the breakfast burrito which was great and my friend got the avocado toast which he said was like if a Brooklyn place he liked “was good”.This town is lit.

This place rocks. Always a nice time seeing familiar faces here. Food and coffee is delicious and lots of locally sourced products here. Also great little grocery selection. Check out the fresh local vegetable cooler section for greens and veg from local producers.

A cute little gem with a great selection of cheeses and other foods. In the back, there is a great area with books, candles, assorted homewares and knickknacks, and some local pottery to buy and the wine store attached has a great selection of local ciders and spirits! Staff was super friendly and eager to help! Highly recommend a stop here!

Excellent coffee, delicious cheese and wine. Lots of gluten free options (bread for sandwiches at the deli and also grocery items to take home). Highly recommend!

Such a gem. Great food! The bread for the panini was to die for. Great atmosphere. High quality grocery items and gifts as well as a fantastic wine selection.

Food was great but the cashier wasn't so great. I won't go into detail about my interaction with her but I can tell she isn't fond of Hispanics. She didnt provide me the same level of service as she did to others. It's very unfortunate because the place is very cute and has all the necessities.

One stop shop! Legit everything you’d need for any occasion, a bike ride, a party, a snack, a gift - and so many locally made options! F&G is sweet store with thought into every detail, ya feel it. Oh and BANGIN FOOD.

We had dinner here last night and it was incredible. Everything from the cheese plate to the steak and the wine selection was top notch. The portions are massive. The people who work here are kind, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. We'll be back 100x.

We had a very special dinner with friends at Forage and Gather on Saturday and it was lovely. Such a neat atmosphere from the minute you walk in. Candles and fresh flowers on every table and the tables remind me of going to my grandmother's. The appetizer was so good, a flatbread with cheese and spinach, maybe ramps too. Our dinners were so tasty and we even had to take some home so we had room for dessert. Steak had a chimichurri that was to die for. The Orange Chicken was delicious with an Orange sauce that was light and not overpowering and I especially loved the wine pairing suggestion on the menu along with a very homemade tasting fried rice. I could tell all the ingredients they use are healthy and top notch. Speaking of homemade, dessert was homemade chocolate cake and here's the part I loved too...,Jane's Vegan Triple Chocolate Ice Cream. Oh we will definitely be back. Loved being able to pick up a few goodies at the market part to take home too. Still enjoying the Dried Chorizo and snacks we picked up. lovely experience!!

This is a a gem of a place hidden away in the quiet hamlet of Mountaindale. For years nothing was happening here. I used to walk to the local rail trail and wish for some local businesses to open. Lisa B and Cat W came here with a dream and almost singlehandedly have transformed Mountaindale from detour to destination. Their high quality inventory focuses on locally produced or NYS items. Their purchasing exhibits a highly honed critical eye that enables them to ferret out the best items available in every category. The cooking is consistently great and the special events are something that I look forward too with high expectations, expectations that are never dashed and almost always exceeded. I almost hate to write this review because once people find out how great this place is I am sure I myself will want to stop going (hashtag hatecrowds), so I may be giving away a secret against my own best interests but they both deserve any success that comes their way.
