Excellent Gym has just about everything. No real issues except broken equipment. Nothing is perfect but the atmosphere the Staff and Members are awesome. The could do a better job with the Parking Lot. I Highly recommend this Gym. Great Rates and occasionally they do Specials. Give this place a try you most definitely will find it pretty much Meets your needs.

In case no one told you because they won’t tell you when you come to check their plans and pay, they got a cancellation fee of $60 but they won’t tell you until you cancel ? I paid $120 and $50 to bring someone with me, they didn’t mention anything about a cancellation fee, I went there for one month only and didn’t like it, it is not worth 25 min drive, they have a lot of machines but some don’t work and some rusty. Anyways, I came to cancel and they surprised me with $60 fee, and they won’t even discuss with u, ignoring like if they’re doing u a favor, pay it or they will keep charging $50 a month ? nice ?

The only reason I didn't give this gym 5 stars because it didn't return to being a 24 hour gym after the pandemic lockdown and last time I went to the gym there were leaking issues to the point the bottom floor was flooded and had to be shut down. You could only use the 2nd and 3rd floor. Lastly the first floor men's toilet would always be broken. This gym was very beneficial as a 24 hour gym. Especially to people who have jobs. People who were serious about working out were able to simply do their workout and leave. You also didn't have to worry about the gym being cluttered with people. Hope the owner sees this. The gym needs to go back to it's roots.

Awesome gym with a ton of unique equipment - part of the ceiling had fallen from the 3rd floor onto the 2nd floor and was a bit dangerous. A lot of machines were in need of maintenance but functional. Would have loved to buy a tank top but prices were too high ($35).

Honestly, I am very disheartened to have to right this review. The staff is very kind, so this is not about them. I signed up for this gym membership for a year because it's in downtown Mount Vernon with access to buses and the Metro North. However, the machines are dirty, hard to understand, and they cater to a "body builder" crowd. If you are getting started or regrouping post COVID and you are not the bodybuilder type, this gym is not beneficial to you. It's so bad that I am going to let the money I spent here go and rejoin PF. This is not about the staff, but it's not a gym for everyone.

It is a big gym. Has the same machines my present gym has. The lady and owner were very pleasant and informative.I'm looking forward to going here, need to make a decision soon. Parking is a bit questionable.

This gym is 3 floors and has a lot of equipment but don't expect anything fancy. The equipment isn't new and the gym is not well maintained but it gets the job done.

The gym has very good machines - it has too many machines - the only problem is that it is very dirty, for this reason I give it one star, their prices are reasonable but they should improve the cleaning of the machines and the bathrooms ?

Great gym, new people can learn a lot from experienced people here and it’s Alamo a great gym for experienced people. They have every machine you’ll ever want plus boxing! Come here when you want to focus on getting fit.

Place is huge ! They have everything you need and if it's too packed then you can find a similar piece of equipment on the second or third floor. Nostalgic / gritty gym vibe. Loved it. Will go back.

This gym has everything that you need to have a good workout! I'm not into heavy lifting any longer, so the life cycles and the other running, and climbing machines are plentiful. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. If you want to get your lift on, oh yeah, this is the place. Free weights and machines are enough that you don't have to wait around to get your lift on. I recommend this gym for beginners and the Vet. Lifters.
