“I was bracing for exorbitant costs for a routine mature lady cat checkup. Dr Ball was really nice, patient, and reasonable. She is also a very good educator and I think all pet parents would benefit from all her helpful advice and care. The staff, as usual, were kind and friendly. I was quite pleased with the appointment. The experience made me want to come back and have Dr Ball keep taking care of Mochi to provide the best quality of life for the cat. Thank you!”

“Had a very good visit with Dr bardari. My dog had some very vague symptoms and the dr came to a very likely diagnosis of low grade pancreatitis. She made him more comfortable with fluids and an anti nausea meds and he is back to himself.”

“I never write reviews but this one is necessary! Dr. Pozo is truly a gem, she’s so warm and gracious and puts you right at ease! She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!”

“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!”
“I want to thank all the staff and especially doctor Christine Asgar for being very professional, compassionate and kind. Our dog Max always got an excellent care. Unfortunately he succumbed to untreatable cancer. Doctor Asgar always called personality to ask how he was doing, and called personally to express her condolences. We got a handwritten sympathy card in mail from all the staff, and it means a lot to dog owners to get that kind of attention.”

“- Excellent doctors (recommend Dr. Bassman), excellent techs, excellent front office staff, excellent management. No exceptions, which is rare.
- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.
After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.
It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.
If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.

“Dr Thayer and his staff are caring, attentive and friendly. I have an old cat (19 years) and Dr Thayer considers the whole cat in deciding how to treat her so that she is her best self. They also make sure I understand what is going on with her and that I can follow any instructions he gives me. We also board her and she is always happy to come and stay with them. Thank you”

“I would like to say thank you to the Manor Veterinary Clinic. We saw a pigeon get hit by a car and get a broken wing. I called my veterinarian in Eastchester, but they would not take the pigeon. I was passing Manor Veterinary Clinic, so I stopped in to ask if they would take care of the pigeon. They immediately said yes! They got a box and comfortable bedding for the pigeon. They told me if the pigeon could be saved, they would do their best! I followed up with a phone call and they were glad to speak with me! They informed me that they stitched the pigeon up and are making arrangements to have the pigeon go to a bird sanctuary and continue to heal! I just wanted to share my experience with this clinic. The women at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful and the veterinary team did not think twice to help this pigeon!”

I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. I had been dreading coming in to get the help he needed because of his aggression. I’m so incredibly glad I came. Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

“I can’t thank Dr. Fullerton and the whole LAH team enough for the amazing care they gave my dog from the time he was a puppy all the way through his senior years. He went through so much over his 17+ years—epilepsy, injuries, viruses, even a serious eye injury that had us coming in every day for months—and everyone there was always so kind, patient, and professional.
They treated him like family and always took the time to explain what was going on and make sure we both felt okay. Losing him has been really hard, but it’s comforting to know he was looked after by such dedicated, caring people. I’m so grateful for everything they did for him (and for me).”
