The staff is always pleasant and parking is available. The floors are clean and the music is a plus. It's a small store but it's packed with merchandise.

It’s a pleasant location and it’s obvious the employees are putting forth excellent effort to create a good shopping experience. There’s less inventory since the pandemic but that seems to be in many retailers. The store is kept clean and they keep the line moving. My favorite departments are: jewelry, beauty, stationery and home decor. It’s best imo to visit during the week or when they first open on the weekend. There’s ample parking especially since Bed Bath and Beyond closed. There is also a bus stop out front.

He I put one star for my experiences in TJ Maxx bc of one particular employee. He had an eye patch on, he was African-American with a braid in his hair, he was messy looking, sloppy looking , very rude to customers and I want to say this is my second experience with this particular employee and he is very racist. I am white and he is black and I was returning something and it wasn't even nothing to do with him and he opens his mouth and had to start saying stuff about my return (extremely loud) he is extremely rude and that's what made my shopping experience totally unpleasant. And it's ashame bc all the other employees I encountered were extremely friendly. He makes shopping there an unpleasant experience. HE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!

Went to TJ max Mount Vernon NY to return a Bag Holder store manager Dominique told me she is not taking it back because it’s too old and it’s not in her system and have a rude demeanor she told me if you do not have a receipt she is not taking it back . I have return merchandise to TJ max before if no receipt you are given a gift card with the exchange of an ID .
