Extremely greatful to Ariel from mount Vernon branch. I'm from Queens an dI receive a call wanting to verify a check number and amount, apparently I was a victim of "check washing" scam, where they change the payers name and amount, well Ariel thought it looked fishy and called me. I am so greatful to her for her diligence and dedication, we are retired on a fixed income a the $900 the check was made out for would've made a dent in our finances. Ms. Ariel White you are the best.... Thank you!!!

I've been with Capital one for over 30 years and never a problem, this week I received a call from a teller at a branch in Mount Vernon (I'm from Queens, NY) wanting to verify a check number and amount check was made out for. The check in question was for the Gas company, the teller tells me it was made out to a Persons name and amount was changed to $900. (I had heard of check washing but didn't think it would happen to me) The teller thought it looked suspicious and called me to verify, thank goodness she did. I am so grateful for the cashiers diligence and going the extra mile to verify the information. Ms. Ariel White of Mount Vernon branch (500 Gramatan Ave) gets a 10+ from me.

Greatest bank on Garmon Avenue by far! Michael is a God! He went above and beyond to help me out with some issues I was having with my account. he took time to sit down and go over everything with me. He educated me and made me feel very comfortable. I am very grateful for his time!

I called the branch frantically this morning as I couldn't get through to customer service last night or this morning I spoke to a very lovely young lady named Ariel (like the mermaid) Who went above and beyond to get me to the right person to speak to in customer service and she even called me back an hour later to make sure that I had taken care of my issue which I completely appreciate it Although I have been at this branch for quite a few years now and have never had an issueThey have accommodated me over the years with my ever-changing issues and life good going capital one!!

Just came from this bank to withdraw my hard earned money and got a nasty attitude from 2 ladies who work there. Firstly, I made a large withdrawal and was profiled by one of the ladies, so she then toss my ID and documents to the next lady to her to do some more profiling even after giving them 2 forms of ID. I will not go back to this branch again.

So went to this branch today and tried to pull $11k cash out of my account and was told all I can get is a check, was even told my account had "suspicious activity" so it's suspicious for cash but not a check, ok, got it. The "supervisors" here are worthless also. I'll be taking my business elsewhere of course.

She stayed very professional with a smile on her face. Sara’s personality gave me the comfort in doing business with Capital One. This location is not my normal location for banking, but I will surely travel to keep that one on one experience.5 stars for Ms. Sarah.

My experience was unpleasant the teller (Ms Dorothy White at the Gramatan Ave) was rude. She throw my money on the counter because she asked me to insert a card from a total different bank. my question was, why would you want me to insert a total different bank card into your bank chip reader.

The point in having an ATM is so people can use it when you’re closed. They took our or are rebuilding the atms outside so there isn’t any walk in. Highly inconvenient. Bad enough one of y’all machines always down. Go to the one on white plains or Pelham this whole spot trash.
