“Extremely greatful to Ariel from mount Vernon branch. I'm from Queens an dI receive a call wanting to verify a check number and amount, apparently I was a victim of "check washing" scam, where they change the payers name and amount, well Ariel thought it looked fishy and called me. I am so greatful to her for her diligence and dedication, we are retired on a fixed income a the $900 the check was made out for would've made a dent in our finances.
