The Catskills Visitor Center is the gateway to the Catskill Park. It is a beautiful and well-maintained place to stop for helpful and informative staff, area maps and guides, and hiking information. Visitors can browse educational exhibits on the nature, history, and culture of the Catskills. The center features beautiful and accessible nature trails that are kid-friendly, with opportunities for picnics and wildlife viewing. An awesome fire tower provides an amazing view. The grounds include picnic tables and spotless bathrooms. The center is open year-round with regular events and educational programming for all ages. It is a great spot for planning your itinerary, whether new to the area or a local.

Great experience on Memorial Day! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The perfect folks to work at a visitor center to guide and inform tourists about the area.

Very good and well maintained visitor center. There is a fire tower to climb and enjoy the view from it, just behind the visitor center.
