I should have posted this a long time ago. A little over 2 years ago, I asked Joes Mobil to perform tune up on my car, At least thats what I thought I got, He recently informed me it was something else, More on that later. When I arrived at his shop to tell him something was seriously wrong with the car, he became very aggressive and nasty with me, in front of another customer, no less. I was shocked and appalled by his behavior because I had been a loyal customer of his, even following him to his new location that was clearly out of my way Anyway, I walked out of his store and went to the dealer who sold be the car, Ramp Motors and had them look at it. I received news from the service department it would cost me thousands of dollars to fix the car. I decided it was best to buy a new car. There were not a lot of options as we were dealing with supply chain issues. What really annoyed me was that after I had posted something like this last week, I got a call from Joe on 7/17/23 telling me or threatening me that he would sue me if I didnt take the post down . If there was any thought of my overreacting to a betrayal from 2 years ago, this threat to sick his lawyer after me for writing an unflattering review made me feel like I did the right thing. I did not DELIBERATLY LIE about this situation. BOTTOM LINE I was mistreated by this man. Hes lucky I didnt sue him for the cost of buying a new car. If he wants to get his lawyer after me, like he told me on 7.17.23, let him . He knows where I am. NO CONSUMER . should be fearful of a lawsuit from someone they PATRONIZED for heavens sake.

This is this my second review for Joe's Mobil since the first time I went to him 2 years ago. Even though I'm no longer a new customer, I still get the best service with Joe. He is honest, professional, and knows his business. For something minor like a flat tire, he still get's you in right away. He NEVER disappoints. Thank you, Joe!!

My car was towed in after breaking down with check engine light on. Joe charged me to scan the error codes on the car to “diagnose.” He got the codes but couldn’t find anything wrong, just did a lot of “checking.” Told me they drove the car, check engine light turned off, nothing was wrong. Paid $130, picked up my car. Within 5 miles the light was back on, car running poorly. Barely made it to the dealership. Dealer ran the codes too and replaced an oxygen sensor. Joe needs a better scanner or he shouldn’t charge when he’s not able to help.** edited to add I never said it was a no start. The check engine light was on and the car cut power to the engine making it impossible to drive. A message came up on the dash that said it was cutting power to the engine and the stabilitrack system. I do not expect you to work for free but nothing was fixed and something was definitely broken. Also your mechanic gave me the wrong receipt and then asked for it back when I came back to get my car. I had to take a picture of it because I had no proof I paid ?Services: Auto maintenance

Local friends- you’re always looking for an honest mechanic- I have the guy. Joey Sciacca of Joe's Mobil Auto Repair Center-in PJS. My daughters boyfriend had a flat last week, took it “somewhere else” and they told him they couldn’t plug it and he needed to buy a new tire. They didn’t have the matching tire so he said he was going to pick it up and try elsewhere. Called Joe yesterday who said he could get him the tire within a couple hours- just bring it in early. (The man had a tire sale) and when he brought it in this morning Joe told him there was no reason it couldn’t be plugged, plugged it for him and he’s good to go. Now that’s a good guy. The word helpful doesn't cover it.Went in yesterday to get something diagnosed...I was helped almost immediately. His pricing was very very reasonable and I was in and out of there in under an hour. (which is equally as important to me) Def will use again!Service: Air & cabin filter replacement
