“When you walk into Adel"s storefront in Rhinebeck prepare to spend a couple of hours there pouring over all of his beautiful pieces. I found the most beautiful ring in the showcase which I then tweaked with the help from Adel (owner) and Annie (gemologist extraordinaire). They did not disappoint and I can't stop looking at the ring on my finger. Perfection! Thank you so much.”

For the last 20 or so years, every time hubs and I visit Woodstock, we always make it a point to come here, upgrade our Tibetan Prayer Flags, get gifts, purchase Nag Champa and say 'hi' to our friend and Modern's owner, Daphne. So you know, Daphne herself or Merin(?), are happy to assist you with any questions you have. Modern Mythology is located right in the town's square. It's full of Dragons, Fairies, stocks a variety of silver pendants, earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces- which include Amber, Amethyst, Opal and other crystals that literally jump at you when you first walk in. Let me not forget, Mythology also sells Incense, Singing bowls, candles, Sage, Books, Chakra Sets, Tarot Cards and so many other items of spiritual nature. Most recently, we picked up a sterling silver 20" chain and an Eye of Horus to replace the one my daughter has had from here since she was 16, an Opal piece- as her October birth stone and medium sized Prayer Flags for our backyard. This shop is worth visiting, especially if you're interested and believe in the power of healing crystals, incense to clean out negativity and beyond. Modern Mythology provides quality products and treasures (at a price), to promote harmony between your mind, body and spirit through these natural products.”

“I know the struggle is real when it comes to choosing what to buy as a Christmas gift for our family. So the week before, hubs and I scoured this tiny- but mighty shop at the corner of Tannery Brook Rd & Tinker St. in Woodstock. The size of this shop makes it cute. The location is cute. Hell, the products are cute. These ladies have a selection of minimalist-meets-unusual lifestyle and home items ranging from candles, door stoppers, jewelry, blankets, throws, outdoor mats and so much more done tastefully. This was almost a one-stop-shop place for us as we crossed some people off our Christmas list. Between the sofa pillow I got for my Mom, (2) small ceramic candle holders, a fuzzy scarf and tapered candles- things were looking good. Since my daughter's sorority's mascot is an Elephant, I also purchased her an Elephant wooden door stopper I couldn't pass up. List or not, I'd come back any other time to pick up something for myself.”
“Fun store, very clean and organized. I learned that a spiral staircase will trigger my vertigo lol. The person behind the counter was nice, fun and welcoming to everyone who came in. I'm not a normie, and I get judged by my appearance frequently by normies, so when someone treats me the same as everyone else in the store, I take notice. I also had repairs and checks and cleaning and they never once make you feel like you are bothering them. What a great group of women they have working there.
