“Family Veterinary Care of Ossining is the best veterinary practice around. I have had a handful of vets over the years in Westchester and none of them come close to the amazing Dr. Klainbard and his superstar team. Dr. Klainbard is incredibly thoughtful, compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. He is an exceptionally nimble and resourceful thinker, always finding creative solutions and avenues of exploration to define and resolve very nuanced issues related to my complicated pug. All the Vet Techs are so kind and knowledgeable as well, and everyone at the front desk echoes the same vibe. Lisa and Evan are always super accommodating and sweet, unflappable in the roles. It’s hard to add to the existing 251 5-star Google reviews across the board, but why not make it 252. Family Veterinary Care of Ossining is the best - they literally treat you like family.”
“We've been clients of Dr. K (and Dr. Raclyn) for at least a decade, following them, (and happily making the hour drive) from NYC to Yorktown. The whole Yorktown team is exceptional. Dr. Weisenfeld, vet techs Cheryl and Maria, plus both Shayna's at the front desk and the entire back office staff...really everyone - the amount of care and love they gave our dogs during their lifetimes was unmatched.Most recently, they cared for our dog Lyla in her final days, helping us navigate heartbreaking decisions with care and confidence. Our dogs loved coming here to board and for vet care, literally bounding out of the car when they realized where they were. They both lived long and healthy lives thanks to the fantastic case they received at Yorktown. When we are ready to bring another dog into our home, we will absolutely be clients of Yorktown again.”

“We’ve been in a few times, great and such a helpful team! So caring too! This visit though, Eymi was an ALL-STAR!! Our littlr guy got not to happen, he’s an 80lb terrier and me and Eymi powered down after quite a draw all to see if his hindside needed attention. Thank God Eymi and the whole team kept their cool cuz after a dozen trys we were gunna call it quits as the last patients…but they treated our boy like he was theirs 5 ????? and 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I have been looking to get my dog's teeth cleaned, and I am so glad that I found Cross River Animal Hospital via a recommendation. This is one of very few locations in the area that does non-anesthetic dental cleaning, and they did a really great job for my dog. The staff was very warm and welcoming towards me and my dog. I would highly recommend this animal hospital and know that we will be back!”

“Dr. Haims is the most thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable vet. He has taken such great care of three of our dogs. When our beloved Shea past away he called to check on us, sent a card and made a donation in her name. His thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. When our other dog was diagnosed with cancer he went above and beyond to give us all the options and guide us with the best treatment for her. He will take time to answer all of the questions and make sure you’re comfortable with the answers. He is a genuine caring and knowledgeable vet. His staff is also loving and sweet with the dogs and are always willing to help. I highly recommend Dr. Haims and his staff. They are simply the best!!”
“My experience started at goldens bridge through my mom. her first dog an afghan hound HATED all men except Steve (who she was in love with), from there it was the obvious answer who the family would go to for veterinarian care. Steven and Betty are both exceptional vets, besides being absolutely brilliant, every patient becomes apart of their family, in which they go above and beyond. Additionally, they are compassionate and understanding for both the patient and client, ensuing information is easy to comprehend along with dedication to ensure the best care is given. Goldens Bridge Vet Care Center's exceptional excellency extends to their team as well. The receptionist, Shannon and Tarra are patient and compassionates for every concern. Providing great support when it comes to scheduling, reminders, and insurance. The Techs and assistance are also outstanding. Holly and Janet immediately become all of my dogs favorites and I know I can trust them with absolutely everything. And of course Lisa is someone I cant express enough how grateful I am to have as a caretaker for my pets. She will work in great length to ensure I can get the best quality of life for all my pets, while taking the time to also check on how I am doing especially when it comes to any emergency. I cant express enough how amazing this team is. I had the pleasure of working along side them for a portion of my life before moving on to a different field and would recommend them to everyone for the care of their fur babies.”

They're loving and caring with our fur Baby. Whether is for a quick shots follow up or surgery, Buttcheek loves the team (yes, our dog's name is Buttcheek).They're great to the pets and to us humans! So accommodating! My schedule is difficult, but they would even get to me on the phone for follow up, making sure Buttcheek is doing good. Love them!! ❤️”
“Excellent shelter and experience in adopting our dog in January. We have an older dog (also adopted from the SPCA Westchester in 2011) and the staff was careful to make sure that the two dogs were compatible. We were able to leave with out new puppy the same day. The facility is beautiful and clean and it is clear that the staff cares deeply about the animals. Highly recommended!”
“I changed from Yorktown Animal Hospital to Thornwood Animal Hospital due to the distance from my home, and it has proven to be the best choice for my pup. Dr. Patel and the staff are fantastic, caring, and always create a positive atmosphere. My dog usually gets anxious at the vet, but here he appears to be at ease and even enjoys the visits. The level of professional care is exceptional. When my pup fell ill, Dr. Patel personally called me with the analysis results and has consistently been available when needed. Without a doubt, it's the best veterinary hospital I've experienced. Outstanding work and service!”
“This is a very kind and casual vet. Really lovely people front to back. The only downside is how busy they stay. This is at least partly because they always give you the time and attention that you and your pet need when they're with you. But they do a great job of managing the chaos and getting to everyone eventually. They so clearly love your pets too.”
“I never leave reviews but given my history with losing my rabbit in a neuter surgery, I was hesistant to have my new rabbit get spayed. I went to this vet for the surgery and I an so happy I did. You can definitely trust this place with your pet. They are very informative, gentle, and kind. They are thorough with their work and they care about the animals. I brought my rabbit in for a spay and they did a fantastic job. She is healing super quickly and healthy. 100/10 - I highly recommend.”
“I cannot recommend taconic vet enough. They are absolutely amazing from the front desk, assistants and doctors. They are compassionate, open-minded and empathetic. I have gone to them a few times. Unfortunately, the last time I went I got some very bad news but they sat with me and explained the entire situation, supported me anyway they could and continued to be honest about the situation. I can honestly say they are not the type to rip you off or manipulate you. They lay out all your options and give you an estimate prior to doing any tests or procedures. Overall, I have had an amazing experience with them.”

“Best vet clinic! I’m a nervous dog Mom & the staff are always happy to answer my many questions, attentively. My dog is greeted with love, every time. The level of care is above and beyond. They provide excellent, detailed treatment plans and the level of expertise in the vets/techs is extremely evident. Anyone who has been to a different clinic, knows how difficult it is to find both vet & staff that you can TRULY trust with your beloved pet. At every other vet clinic I’ve tried, my dog was either misdiagnosed, mistreated or injured - it’s heartbreaking. It’s relieving to know that anytime my dog comes in, he is getting the best quality of care and being treated with kindness. Throughout the past 15 years that my family has been going here, the talented vets & techs have added years onto both of their dogs’ lives. I can’t say enough positive comments - they are genuinely the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to nationwide, let alone in NY/Westchester. 100% would recommend visiting, if you haven’t already! Your pet(s) deserve it!”
