“The store is much much bigger than you could even imagine. You walk in and it seems as if you’d enter the mecca of wine & spirits. The staff is incredibly helpful in guiding me through some decisions and educating me on my choices. They even carried the bottles to my car. You come for a quick stop but stay for the hospitality and abundant wine selection! I’ll be coming back for the tastings too.”

“7/21/23, visiting my sister who lives in the area for a family event. She comes here often and this is a Great store, very deceiving from outside. You would think it was small, but quite large with great selections. The store is also bright and clean.That said, Shout out to Zach ?? these 5 stars are for you! Thank you for being patient, answering all my questions with a smile and for the recommendations…. Also thanks to the other Staff member who was there and added a few comments to what he tried and like.The smiles, good humor and assisting us to the car was much appreciated. “Hilltop wines carries the finest hand picked selections by Peter who is also a sommelier. His attentiveness to his clients is like no other. Every bottle I have purchased was exactly what I was going for thanks to Peter's recommendation. Although I miss the tastings on Saturdays at Hilltop (I heard they might do outdoor tastings if it get approved :)) Peter and his staff have gone above and beyond to keep their clients safety first during this time. They now do deliveries. You can call the store or go through Drizzly to place your order! if you don't feel comfortable coming in the store they are still offering curbside or in many instances they bring it right to your car! This is a five star experience”

“im somewhat of a regular i suppose lol. today i walked in and diverted from my usual section. i was immediately met with "whoa ok what do we need" by the staff. i said "i need a brut and i have a 20" and i was walking out the door as a satisfied customer in under a minute. good stuff too.”
“Think of River View as your friendly neighborhood wine store. Place is decently sized with a skew more towards wine than liquor. It's also catty-corner from a parking lot which is damned convenient. My favorite part about it is the owner; he's always there, knows his stuff, and is a genuinely nice guy; if I had a nickel for every rude person working in a liquor store, I'd have a f*** of a lot of nickels. Prices are very reasonable too, especially for a place paying rent on Main St. Main drawback here is that the selection could be a bit better. They are more focused on curating a good list of alcohol options than a large list of alcohol options. If you come here expecting a massive selection you'll be disappointed, however if you just come with a general idea of what you want/asking for a recommendation, you will be happy.”

“We may have simple tastes, but Wine Geeks makes it a pleasure to wander in, or even call up, and piece together a case of tasty options to suit our mood that won't break the bank. Making lovely suggestions when it might be worth the $30 bottle instead of the $15-$20 ones. They have amazing service and good systems that make it easy to call up and ask for another case like one you've ordered before or even make some small adjustments, then just drive by and grab it! They're also good about keeping a couple bottles of various whites and bubbly cold if needed in a hurry.”
