Having been a small business owner myself for several decades I try not to write poor reviews. Usually if I have nothing good to say, I just say nothing. However, this transaction was so egregious I felt I would be remiss if I did not let other potential customers know what to expect. First of all this store is very expensive, but their fabrics and workmanship is top quality as one would expect for the price you’re paying. I started the process with them for a number of window treatments in February and was promised an approximately 10 week turnaround. My order was only installed this PAST WEEK. It took 7 months with no communication from them after the order was placed that I did not initiate. There was no problems on my end with payments or anything else. I did not even inquire as to where my order was until 4 months had passed. I know that unforeseen circumstances can happen but I would think that for the prices they’re charging, you as the customer should be minimally affected and if you are they should communicate with you and keep you up to date. You should not have to chase them.To be completely fair this was my second time using them and my first transaction was very professional in every way. I had planned to place another order but this recent transaction left such a bad taste in my mouth that I’ve had to seriously reconsider it. Buyer be ware.

I worked with Fran for chair, seat cushions and window shadeShe was so knowledgeable and understood what I was looking for.i had previously bought Hunter Douglas shades that needed to be repaired.Patty took care of it, and easily had them fixed, and returned to me promptlyI have been very happy with the service and the people who work there

Worst product/service experience ever! Beware!We purchased a very expensive Hunter Douglas motorized shade and curtain system. It took Calico months to deliver the shades (but they took their entire fee before anything was installed). When the shades did arrive, they were poorly installed and completely askew. Further, the motorized system rarely works. Have spent months trying to get the matter resolved/get a refund but have been given the run-around.Would give them Zero stars if possible. I will continue to post their ineptitude as this progresses.Service: Window design

Just stay Away.This is a real review from two business professionals. We only purchased 8 rolls of wallpaper, however its been a horrible transaction. My wife, was discriminated ( not going into those details) and i was treated like i was bothering them. They went ahead and billed my credit card WITHOUT my consent after i asked what the lead time was. ( they had a CC on file so we could borrow sample books . I also found the same product for far less. They even billed my cc another $1200 for wallpaper books that were returned to them. I don't like to write negative reviews about local stores . As a practice , I try to support local businesses in the Mt kisco /Bedford / Armonk area , and prefer not to buy online if i can help it. Especially during these times when every transaction counts. However i cannot recommend this Horrible, overpriced, store. Their arrogance, and dishonest billing practices brought me to write this review

I worked with Bonnie who was fabulous!! Service was impeccable! Couches are great as was their delivery service. Entire experience was easy peezy.

Very high priced store, not up to the standards of their price. Waited 2 months for 2 simple drapes and when they arrive they have the wrong size for one of the doors. Now they didnt even give us a time frame for the correct one to be Installed. They even didn't have the courtesy to call back after they were informed of the mishap. Of course, they were paid in full.

Thank you And Kudos to Fran. I have worked with Fran over several years and cannot be more pleased. My home has been transformed with new energy, life, and beauty. My husband and I come home at night and look at our home with gratitude. I said to Bill - what else can we have Fran do! Do yourself a favor and call Fran for your own transformation. Gayle

This is a really lovely location. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Fran has aided me in the selection of some fabrics and trims and I really appreciated her input. My orders for samples and fabrics have been quickly received. The store has a nice selection, but also a large collection of sample books for fabrics and trims. I have only purchased fabrics there, so I cannot attest to the quality of their workroom. But for a great selection, varied price points and helpful staff, this is a great store.

Horrible dissapointing experience. I ordered window treatments for 4 rooms in April of 2013. Its October and one room is still not in, not a return call from Calico about the delay, and yet I've already paid! In my living room, I had beautful shades and valances ordered, and they were defective (but installed anyway) - both valances are wrinkly (not supposed to be), and one is filthy. The cord for the shades that was recommended by Calico is just mysteriously "not an option now", though no one told me until installation... It has been 5 weeks since the defective shades were installed and I can't get anyone to confirm they will replace. Mistakes happen, I get that. But during this time I've had no communication, other than my calling them for a status, and not even a hint of an "I'm sorry for the trouble". Not a hint! We are in the process of requesting a full refund. Too bad, since I have an entire house to furnish and a one-stop shop would have been nice.
