My car windshield needed to be replaced and they did a wonderful job. The work was done back in 2019 and this review is 2 years too late. I completely took their awesome work for granted and today I realized how wrong I was to forget about this company and the wonderful service they provided. I had my car windshield glass replaced again today but this time with Safelite in Mount kisco and they were horrible. For more info, read my review of Safelite. This horrible experience is what made me realize that what Automotive elegance did was outstanding. I will now use automotive elegance for windshield glass replacements if i ever need one again. I learned my lesson.

This is the best Detail shop in the tri state area. I have been doing business with Andy since he opened in 1990. I don't bring my cars anywhere else.

The owner is dishonest and fraudulent.I met Andy at an Auto Body shop, where he gave me his business card. He told me that" 'THEY' are the best".Months later, I called him for a quote on full and exterior with buffing machine. He drove to my residence to look at the vehicles. He explained that he would do a 3 stage buff and wax, clean every detail of the car, including: wheel wells, door jambs, trunk jambs, etc. I specifically asked if he used a buffing machine, to which he told me "Yes". He even said to me, "I wrote the book on detailing."At a later date, I scheduled my 2 vehicles; starting with my sedan. I requested the Full Exterior with buffing compound. We booked a Saturday. I left my car in their garage overnight and arranged with Andy to pick it up the next morning. I met Andy at the shop early the next day. The lights were off, so I could not see exactly how "clean" the car was to be. I immediately saw wet towel marks on the rear bumper and mentioned it. I ran my hand across the top of the trunk and felt that it was gritty/dirty. I asked him if a buffer was used at all, to which he replied, "Oh, yeah. We did everything. We used the compound, polish...did it in stages. We removed any imperfections in the paint." He had to leave, as it was his day off, so I drove it out of the garage and to his lot. I was charged $175 for a "Full Exterior with buffing."I didn't waste time taking pictures of his "work", which was absolutely horrible. Towel marks, dirt, debris, dirty wheel wells, dirty windows. It looked like he had power washed it with soap in the line and didn't hand wash the body.The following day, I printed photos of my car with all of the issues clearly shown. I then went to Automotive Elegance and showed Andy the pictures, then my car. He swore up and down that a buffer was used and there was a coat of wax on the car. I took my finger, wiped dirt off and said, "Does that look like a clean car?" He said, "My guy must have missed it. I used my Saturday guy, but I watched him buff your car with wax. I was here all day. I swear to God, we waxed the whole thing." He told me that his business has been running for 30 years. I told him that I have been detailing cars since 1998, with professional years of experience.After haggling back and forth, he gave me a portion of the money on an amount that we agreed to was "fair" (even that wasn't worth the money). I canceled my 2nd appointment and he still proceeded to say, "Well, when you come back next time..."NOT A CHANCE.Andy was polite, but dishonest with me.Bottom line is that he assured me that he has been performing nothing but the best quality detailing service for 30 years. I saw everything but that. He lied to my face when telling me multiple times that it was buffed and waxed. I had to stand there and argue with him SEVERAL times on whether or not the car is/was cleaned.For all of these reasons, I would not wish my worst enemy to use this guy's service. It was the most God awful experience and service.Also, he Google reviewed his own business with 5 stars to increase his review status:- Andrew Perry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐If I could give half of a star rating, that is what they deserve. Andy would not accept responsibility, nor would he admit that they did not do the work that he insisted was done.Judge for yourself by the attached pictures...

Andy and his Crew are the BEST!!! We have now had 3 cars Detailed at Automotive Elegance...one actually Recused! They detailed out PT to the point we hesitated to sell it. Our work van was flooded while we were on vacation...unbeknownst to us, the jute under-mats were starting to mold. Andy recognized the problem immediately and showed us the damage. They not only detailed the car but replaced all the jute, so that it could be safely driven again. Our New car got a few scratches and they were buffed out to perfection! We love Automotive Elegance! Their attention to detail, so much appreciated!

Several of my good friends that are in the car business recommended Andrew Perry at Automotive Elegance. I Just had my black 2012 Audi S5 detailed and WOW the paint looks incredible! The car has not looked this clean and new since I purchased it!
