Drove a classic car up for the vintage racing, had a weld break on the shocks. We thought we wouldn't be able to get it fixed a few hundres miles away from home. We found Parmenter, talked to Terry, said he'd take a look and let us know between customers because they were busy. Three hours later we got a call back and they were able to weld the piece back and checked our other shocks too. We're not able to recomend much in this area from where we are from, but will always recommend this shop.

***I would like to add to my review. I recently received a quote for a repair from the dealer where I bought my car; it sounded high. I called Parmeter in Montour. Their quote was over $300 less! They fit me in the next day. It is rare to find this type of friendly and professional service at such a reasonable price.

Absolute angels. We got a flat and didn't have a spare, they took us in at the very last minute and patched it up in no time. Total life savers and so nice ??????

Had a vehicle emergency while camping, needed new brakes and rotors. They were able to fit me in, where other shops said they had no openings. In a couple of hours they had me back on the road again.

Great customer service! We were visiting Watkins Glen in mid October when we got a flat tire and Gordon & his team were so helpful and able to get me a new tire in 24 hours! Very professional and so friendly. If we lived in the area I would make them my main mechanics! Definitely recommended.Service: Tires

On Sunday, 10/22 I drove from CT to the Finger Lakes. By the time I arrived my battery light was on, which was strange since I got a new battery when Parmenter replaced my alternator at the end of August. I could see that the alternator was crooked and the belt was off. I drove it to them on Monday. The guy at the desk couldn't have been more indifferent. Wouldn't even look under the hood. Said they might be able to look at it Tuesday--the day I need to return to CT. He knew I didn't have another ride. Luckily Tom Pratt in Dundee was able to look at it that day and clean up Parmenter's incompetence. He showed me two rusty (how?) bolts that has snapped leading the alternator to shift and dig into the coolant. By the time I got to Pratt's , the dashboard lights were lit up like a Christmas tree. Parmenter wouldn't stand behind their work and has lost a loyal customer.

From Michigan and visited quick for propane fill up as we are staying at Watkins Glen State Park and the employee noticed our taillight was out on our Jeep Gladiator and they quickly replaced it! Thank you!

I was attending a Trackmasters event at WGI and developed a slow tire air leak. Stopped in to Parmenter tire when they opened and made a appointment for 10 O'clock. Arrived, was greeted and my car was promptly in the shop. 20 minutes later, the tech explained he found a defective valve in the tire stem. Asked me my wheel torque settings and what tire pressure I was running.I was on my way back to the track. Saved my track day!Awesome team at Parmenter Tire!
