We were visiting the FLX on vacation , when our dog was chasing a deer in the woods and got impaled on a stick! Fortunately Dr. Martha was able to stitch him up and we were very thankful for the care we received at Lakeside Veterinary Services, thanks to all! Our little buddy is on the mend!!!

Dr Hawksworth saved my dog's life on the day of our house fire.Due to her taking the time to train our local fire departments on how to respond and revive our furry friends when emergencies arise. Thank you so very, very much!

We had to thought all of our baby Seneca would have to have all her teeth pulled but they were able to save some … and the price was so reasonable compared to what another place would charge .. we were able to bring her home the same day the first night was a little rough for her but the next morning she seems to be fine. The second day she was back to herself. We cannot thank Lakeside veterinarian enough for taking care of Seneca.They truly do have you pet best interest

The receptionist is always smiling . But don't pet the kitty , he likes his space .The doctor is exceptional. I wish I'd come here sooner . And the price is reasonable.

We've gone to this vet for a long time, and we've never had a bad experience. My dog literally loves every minute of being here bc she knows she's going to get so much love. ? The rooms are always clean and the staff will go out of their way to help you out.

My family spends about half the year in New York and our rabbit was being seen by a vet at this practice during the times we were in the area. We were not made aware that he’d moved. Our rabbit had a serious medical emergency a few weeks ago. She’d eaten some of her paper bedding and it was obstructing her breathing. She was slowly suffocating and it was a very dire situation. I called the clinic right when they opened to let them know what was happening and that I’d like to bring her in immediately for an emergency visit so they could attempt to remove the obstruction. I was informed that our vet was no longer there and that the current vet wouldn’t fit my rabbit in. They said the best they could do was put her on a waiting list. In the meantime we were distraught and scrambling to find another vet who would see a rabbit and who would fit her in as an emergency visit. Cornell doesn’t see rabbits anymore unfortunately. I called Lakeside back several times begging them to reconsider but they refused. I finally did find a vet near Ithaca but by that point my rabbit had lost so much oxygen and was in such distress that the vet needed to euthanize her. Our rabbit had been with us for 9 years and we are absolutely devastated. It will haunt me for some time wondering if this clinic had promptly attempted to help her if the outcome would have been different. There didn’t seem to be much in the way of care or compassion from this practice during this awful situation.

I love and appreciate the wonderful vet and her superior staff. They work as a strong team to keep our pets healthy and happy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else,and highly recommend.

The vet here is so caring, careful and great to my pets. I've taken two cats (one of which she saved) and am about to bring my dog there at some point as a switch because I know for a fact she will be much better to him and my wallet than his current office.

I wish I could lower than a 1 star but it won't let me.......Not happy with this place, was felt rushed and unwanted while I was there. Once I told her I had two kittens given to me she seemed like she didn't care about their well being. Was very vague on what was actually wrong with my kittens...just didn't seem to care at all..Gave stuff too me I did not ask for and charged me for it. When I didn't ask for or even need it. And after paying for the visit and doing what vague instructions she gave me ended up losing both of my kitten a day later. I'm not happy with this place. But who cares right.....no one here cares.....

Lakeside is my family's favorite vet. From exotic cats, lizards, working breed dogs, etc... Martha and her group are second to none. She's the only vet that can handle our Bengals and 125lb Alaskan Malamute.
