I put 2 stars for the welcome and the smile of the nice people who work here but for the cleaning of your clothes don't go ! I have my own efficient soap but you are not allowed to use your own soap.The one which is offered (for free) doesn't wash. Sorry, I am not used to write bad comment but I won't come back.

They are closed mid week and only open till four. They are not nice always yelling at you, don’t let you use your own detergent and they don’t let you fold inside. Place is the worst .

The women are not particularly polite, often roll their eyes, and could care less about the satisfaction of their guests. Unfortunately they’re the only option, so they’ll still receive business.You cannot fold your clothes inside since COVID, (even though there is plenty of space). I am certain it is a racially motivated reason as the majority of clientele are minorities, and at this point there is no reason to not allow the use of their space. They go as far as to cover the counters with boxes and objects. They just want their space, the equivalent of goblins. You’d think they’d be respectful considering their business is run by the money coming in from their guests, but they do not care.Fingers crossed karma provides them the same treatment.

Very disrespectful to their clientele. Have worked 5 seasons in Montauk, have not once had a pleasant interaction.

Quality, clean laundromat. However, they have two bench seats inside that are roped off. They ask patrons to wait in their car which is not a good fit if you come with kids.

I've never heard of a laundromat not allowing customers to use their own detergent. I went there two years ago and had to use their detergent and I broke out in a rash from it on my sheets. Today I asked if I could use my detergent from Seventh Generation (Free & Clear- no chemicals) and she said, No. They still have this rule and they're the ONLY laundromat in town. Montauk needs another laundromat.

It's been so many years since I went into this laundromat, and I had forgotten that you can't use your own detergent. I'm writing b/c I'm so disturbed by Chris Fischer's review below. it's not a shameless enough money grab to make ppl buy your shi**y laundry soap in a cheap baggie, you can't cut some visitors to the US a break and help them save money? It's so in keeping with a Montauk MO that I find sickening. Shame on you. (1 star b/c you have to give at least one. Zero stars)

Nice to have a laundry while my hotel does not have the washer. This laundromat does not allow to use your own detergent or not allow fold clothing in the building. Weird rules.

Convenient laundromat in the heart of Montauk, with ample parking nearby and many machines for high-volume loads. As of 2021, it costs $6.50 to wash and dry one small load - that includes detergent, you can't bring your own, you have to buy it there. Pricey, but so it goes in all beach towns. Not much in the way of amenities, just a couple of chairs to park yourself in - but to the left is a beer store, and the beach is literally across the street. Covid regulations require that you wait outside for your load to finish.

The staff our friendly and the equipment is very clean. Best place in Montauk to wash if you need to.

Montauk residence need a dry cleaners.Their dry cleaning service is excellent .
