Rabbi Kass is an expert sofer. Also, he patiently showed me where mezuzot should be placed. One time he called a Rav, which shows to me his humility and yiras shamayim. In addition to all of the positive points that the other reviewers have written, I would like to add that his prices are reasonable.

The rabbi took tremendous care (and time) to teach me and my son what was inside the tfillin. You purchase tfillin but get additional chinuch (education). Wonderful experience. My son now knows what is on his heart and head -- and why!

I got over 30 Mezuzzahs checked and also bought new Tefilin straps. Additionally Rabbi Kass did a virtual walk through of my new house with me and cleared up questions I had. He was very professional, patient, informative and helpful with everything and I would definitely recommend him. Also, I really found his videos on YouTube to be very informative and enjoyable.

Rabbi actually made it easy to write a positive review about tefillin.Mine was a gift for someone. We reviewed the options and even after I picked it up he helped me when I decided to step up the quality of the retzuos.I would recommend Sofer Center in a heartbeat.

Very happy to have found the Sofer Center and Rabbi Kass. I hadn’t checked my tefillin in over 20 years. Rabbi Kass not only checked my tefillin but had it painted up and looking brand new. I also bought 3 beautiful mehudar mezuzahs from him. He is honest and clearly very knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable. I plan to return for all my mezuzah and tefillin needs in the future. Also check out his youtube channel. It’s very informative!
