When The Shell Station first opened in Monsey, it was such a blessing. Prior to this, one had to go all the way to Brooklyn for a decent selection. Plus, their return policy gives customers at least a week to decide, unlike other stores in Monsey, many of which have a 1-day return policy.

Before The Shell Station opened its first stores in Brooklyn ny and Lakewood nj, it was always a pain for me to get shells. The Shell Station solved all my problems. They use quality materials, offer a wide variety of colors (new colors are added/removed from season to season). They offer a variety of styles, and they cater to children, teens, women, plus sizes and maternity wear. Most importantly, all their tops have a good tznius (modest) neckline, that is sure to cover my collarbone. My favorite shells to get are the modal/spandex, which is available in sleeveless, 3/4 and long sleeves. They also have crop shells with sleeves and sleeveless. They carry lycra shells for dressier occasions, and 95% cotton shells, which I love for the summer. They also have body suits.

Before anything, The Shell Station is a clothing store for ladies and teens. It is NOT a gas station. The location on the map IS accurate and they don't sell food. NOT TO CONFUSE with Shel gas station half a mile east. Two Google reviews here seem to have made this error. Back to The Shell Station, they sell mostly "shells" for Jewish Orthodox women and teens to match with better and sporty but modest clothing that are hard to find in typical store. Closed necklines, etc. Large selection at reasonable prices. They have good sales a few times a year. Gets quiet busy on weekends before major Jewish holidays.
