This store’s prices are way too high on most things. Like one bag of chips for ruffles is 7 bucks?! What a joke. The staff isn’t very friendly either, like 2 years back they overcharged us on 2 items and wouldn’t give us our money back and were just very rude about the situation. Wouldn’t recommend this store.

I did not have a very pleasant experience shopping at this store, the quality is mediocre and the hiring manager is quite rude to her customers.

I went to purchase my groceries. I attempted to use my EGift-Card that was given to me as a gift from a family member. I presented the card information (number, pin, barcode) to the cashier. The cashier had no idea what to do so she calls her manager over.Here comes Pauletta Bowman, I explain to her that I am trying to use my gift card and she says to me “we don’t accept that here.” I didn’t quite understand what she meant so I asked for clarity. She said the card isn’t valid. As I continued to show her the details of the card on my phone she told me to call corporate and walked away.I couldn’t believe what had just happened. So I called corporate to find out they are closed on the weekends. I did my own research on the spot and came across all the detailed information regarding E-gift Cards on the Stop & Shop website. Everything on the website pointed to there being no limitations on how the card can be used. After waiting 10 minutes for the manager to come back over to assist me, I explained to her the facts that are stated on the website. She still told me the card was not valid and it cannot be used in this store’s location.I wound up having to pay with my own money and not using the gift card because I was forced into that situation. I have never in my life met someone whose only agenda was to put others down. I will be contacting corporate and driving the extra 5 minutes to go to ShopRite. The worst case of customer “care” I’ve ever seen in my life.

Basically I need to be on the phone with my boyfriend while he works in this store but this store has THE WORST SERVICE THE POOR MAN IS LITERALLY A ROBOT. Fix this or you guys will ruin our relationship.

They don’t allow you to return formula even if it’s sealed and unopened. They said because it’s considered contaminated. So now as a single mom I’m short 50$ and also I still need to spend more money for my sons correct formula. I literally decon hazmat material for a living and I just think that’s absolutely ridiculous. If it’s completely sealed it’s NOT contaminated. Either this company hasn’t done the correct research or they are just trying to find more ways to take people’s money and that’s disgusting. Anyways thanks for listening ✌️

One of the worst supermarkets in the Hudson Valley. So expensive and literally half the produce is rotten at any given time. After visiting shop rite in New windsor, I will never come back here. Ever. Please close your doors.

Went here on Sunday July 2nd 2023 to pick up a few things for company that we were having. We got some hot dog rolls, some 7up to drink, and cranberry, and cran-raspberry juice. We also got ice cold ice as well. Store was organized and it was easy to find everything. We paid via credit card at the self checkout, and also scanned the membership card that i had. will be back soon!

I drive approx. 40 mins to go to this Stop n' Shop location in each direction solely because it has a British foods section. I almost never had any problems until tonight. I asked for help from an employee named Vicky who was busy texting on her phone. Meanwhile there were no reps. in Self Check-out. A product rang-up incorrectly. She was annoyed to have to get off her phone so she snatched my debit card out of the machine. I showed her the item's cost and she claimed it was only for three of the items, so I chose one of them instead. The item still ran-up wrong. Vicky then gave me attitide when I asked for it to be corrected. Then we got in an atgument because I felt mistreated since she mad to assist. - Completely unprofessional!
