This gym was recently updated with lot of new machines and free weights. So you don’t have to wait any longer during your workout. I can’t speak for the women’s locker room of course, but I would steer clear of the men’s locker room. It reeks and looks like a petri dish of athletes foot, plantar warts, and hepatitis.

Equipment new and well maintained. Even on hottest days (have been many) the AC so cool and powerful. Staff are wonderful. Very clean gym & massage chair and hydro massage incredible. My reward after doing workout.

I think this is a really great gym with a great staff, with a management team that doesn't listen to its employees or patrons. I'm only here to point out one of the biggest safety concerns I've seen in a franchise gym.... EVER!!!! The plastic cleaning station flags mounted on every cleaning station is an eye stabbing waiting to happen. The plastic cleaning station flags are poorly mounted and swivel around at eye level and you are constantly ducking them when approaching the cleaning station. Most of the flags have a sharp point at the end and are always positioned at eye level. I am always having to swivel the flag out my face when get spray and paper towels for equipment cleaning. I brought this up to the staff and they said they've heard the same complaint before and have even taken them down In the past, but was told to put them back up by management. The staff mentioned that management has not provided them with better more secure plan for mounting the flags which keep sliding down to tall gym goers eye level. Safety is paramount and should be your management team's number one concern. Once a safety concerns is voiced, you need to take action. Or just get sued.... Sick way to get your money but it's a very easy settlement if someone were to get injured. Management team, listen to your patrons and employees. Nobody wants an awful unforgettable memory of someone getting stabbed in the eye by a poorly mounted plastic flag with a sharp tip on the end. Looking forward to my workout today. Review 1-stat rating will be changed when safety concerns are addressed.

I really like the planet fitness in Monroe, New York. It is extremely clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful and there is plenty of equipment. I love the app with all of the information it provides. I highly recommend.
