I’ve lived at this property for about 7yrs. There is a strikingly noticeable change once Eagle Rock took over and everyone notices it. It’s always been a beautiful property with a lot of potential and the people who live here are great. There’s a real sense of community here. There’s a lot of kids of all ages and a lot of dogs too! The maintenance staff, who all chose to stay and work for the new owners, have always been fantastic. It’s a pretty small staff for this large property but they manage to consistently handle any and every request, and the occasional emergency, expeditiously with a smile and always go out of their way to help with anything I’ve ever asked. We’re very lucky to have them. The new property manager and sales manager have changed the whole vibe here. It now feels like a home rather than what we all felt with the last owner. The office feels welcoming instead of a closed locked building. Someone happily answers the phone when you call which is a wonderful change. Anything happening on the property is communicated with residents in a timely manner – again an upgrade. It used to be very clear that rent was being collected but not a dime was being spent on the property. Now, with the new owner & manager, we physically see the changes every day. I see them walking on the property all the time and there’s a great sense of them being part of our community and wanting to make life here the best possible for residents. The property manager lives on site which is great too because who better to care about quality of living experience, and to understand any issue someone has, than someone who actually lives here. Eagle Rock has promised some great changes and so far, has come through on all of them. The whole property is in the process of a much needed face lift and I’m looking forward to the upgrades for the lake area, courts, gym, and dog park. I’m also hoping those upgrades won’t make our rent skyrocket but that remains to be seen. I would recommend checking the place out, especially for families, and feel free to talk to anyone you see walking. Most people are really friendly. The pool is huge and clean. There’s basketball and tennis courts that are on the list for a revamp I’m told which is awesome. There’s always kids outside playing and people walking. With the new office staff and owners, I love living here again.

The apartments are clean and updated with great amenities. The complex is safe and close to stores and highway. I've had attentive, good experiences with the staff whenever needed. My overall experience here has been very positive.

Since Eagle Rock took over this property in early spring it has been amazing to live here. The property is clean and properly maintained. The maintenance group has been great about responding to service requests. Any issues that need to be handled are taken care of by the Property Manager on site. Great team, very friendly and is always available. Great job!

The new management company has been great! They are making so many improvements to the complex! Staff is amazing, maintenance, leasing and property manager are fantastic! Great place to live!

Lived here for 4 years and the management company switched to Eagle Rock back in March. Since then it’s been nothing but emails being sent about rules of what you can and can’t do. They also make you pay a 500 dollars upfront amenities fees if you renew your lease. For what? There are no events or food trucks that are being offered like the old management used to have. Maintenance now takes days to respond to repairs. Not a nice place to live anymore. Many people are leaving. There are about 20 plus apartments empty now. Also, if you’re late on your rent, you receive harassing letters posted on your door and mailed to you threatening to take you to court if you don’t pay. Can’t wait to leave this place.

Do not rent here. Worst apartment ever! Eagle Rock moved 20 unvetted male workers into two vacant 1200 sq ft apartments without any notice to residents. These men are working on the buildings roof and living in the vacant apartments until the work is finished. They have not even responded to our concerns about safety and overall congestion.

We moved here from another GDC property, I have say they are attentive to needs of the tenant.The staff from leasing through maintenance are excellent.We are extremely happy and the other GDC properties should take note from here.

The property manager is amazing and so is the maintenance crew, but the company itself is horribl, I'd you move here be prepared to get a huge rental increase from corporate, and if you try calling them about it they don't acknowledge you.... Its sad

First off, the new property manager is amazing, compared to the previous manager who was beyond nasty. The 2 maintenance guys work very hard. I received a 21% increase and it’s my 3rd year here. GDC is a terrible management company, try calling them, they don’t answer, you leave a message and they send your message back to the property manager. I have tried to reach GDC corporate and I do not get a response. All I can say is that they overcharge for the units, give insane yearly increases, and property management has their hands tied, which is sad. I do not recommend moving here. Yearly increases are insane and GDC has a reputation of being one of the worst management companies out there. Be aware, if you are looking to rent In Mohegan Lake for the schools, just be prepared, you will pay big $$ and will probably end up having to move due to huge increases!It’s been over a month and I’ve still gotten no response from corporate on my review or increase, try calling corporate you will always get a voicemail, never a live person. Once again I will say this is the worst management company I’ve ever dealt with and I will keep posting until I get a response

First year was awful. Second year they cleaned the place up and repaired many outdoor areas, Dempster areas, garbage pick up, sprinkler system, parking areas etc. Much more responsive management and nicer tenants.

My wife and I sold our home and moved here in June 2022. The apartment was is very good condition and the grounds are well kept. It's actually very quiet here, tucked away off Lexington Avenue. We're close to stores, my gym. and highways, yet are living in a country setting. The neighbors we've met are friendly and polite and the staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. The rent is the rent and this is the reality of today. This was a good decision for us.

Only a few weeks but from I can see it seems like a very nice community to live.Grounds are well kept. The Property Manager is a pleasure to speak with, always asking if we're doing good. The maintenence are there when needed,also a pleasure

I have never lived in an apartment, especially a GDC Property, that doesn’t have a brand name on the stove??? I am trying to clean it but it doesn’t even have a self cleaning mode???? When we moved in, I was told this was a brand new stove/oven!!!! I think NOT!!!
