ACME is the nearest market to my home. I find myself at ACME at least once a week picking up the necessities that have run out. Their prices can be a glance higher than the megastore 20 minutes away but I understand this is because their location is better/costlier to them and I need to applaud them for taking on that risk to provide me a more convenient option.

Go to this store for large selection, usually go to Shrub Oak, but for senior discount day go to this store. may not be worth the aggravation what you are charged most times is not what the shelf says, very unfriendly staff even the managers (AL) do not try to ask for help, you wont get it.

MOHEGAN LAKE STORE .Holy moly this store is horrible period no redeeming qualities. The Mohegan lake manager is horrible I have been cursed out and threatened by him twice in a store full of customers both managers act like alcoholics they harassed me daily I go in I've been cursed out they have gotten in my face and even told my 50 year old aunt to get the f out of his store I have called corporate twice on them and the only change is they no longer verbally approach me they simply stare and harass me I have never seen anything like this in my life its obvious acme does not care about the kind of insane people they hire or how there customers are treated on top of there over priced food the management's horrible it's something you need to see to even believe is allowed to happen in a store on one occasion I even witneesed manager Dooby throwing boxes around the store cursing that they hire new people when they don't give him hours and he's a manager this place is completely insane I don't recommend any one spend money there at all unless there completely ok with harassment or verbal abuse from the management

I like going to Acme. Everyone is packing in to Shop Rite and Stop n Shop; this store is rarely busy. Wide open aisles Clean store. Pleasant personnel and good bargains

Consistently overpriced food compared to neighboring markets. Also, during this covid crisis - you still have to pay for a bag? The young cashier i got could give eeyore a run for his money. Second time I found myself on her line and let me tell you, she could suck the happiness out of life quicker than you can say hello. What's going on!

LOVE this store and location!!!!! I have been to an Acme before and it was nice but this location I was brought to in search of a specific item I was not able to find at other store locations. The prices are very good and the day I visited they had a promotion when signing up for their rewards you receive a case of water. So of course I did :). The rewards program is free and very good sales! They also have a place in the store where there are items that have been discounted and marked down for one reason or another so we were able to benefit from that. The coupons on the rewards app were very good! This store is very comprehensive and has a variety which I really appreciate! Check out this store if you have not already!

My daughter went to ACME, She got rotten oranges, and old fried chicken that had an expired date and it was on the very bottom of the bag where you could barely see the date. Even the grapefruits were rotten, and some of the mangoes. The green leafy mix of spinach and other leafy green vegetables smelled moldy. I don't who runs these stores but they should be in business selling bad foods that are already rotten or out dated or moldy. Even some of there meats and fish are not of good quality or just old, and over priced. I told her to stick with Trader Joes or Shop Rite.
