“I've been bringing my vehicles to Transtek for about 17 years. Bob and his team are always pleasant, professional, and, most importantly, honest. Everything is always explained in detail. I've never had the feeling that an "up sell" was taking place such as happens at places like Mavis. The workmanship is always top notch and they stand behind their work. We have moved since we first started going to Transtek, and even though we now live about half hour away we still bring our vehicles to Bob and Transtek. That says it all.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Not only were they very kind to me when I was having a panic attack about a ruptured brake line they also got me in the next morning. The guys were so kind and they made sure to have a conversation about what they saw with my brake line with me. Additionally, the guys were very patient with my mother and I’s 1000 plus questions about brakes. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone I know! I definitely will be coming back.”

“Stopped in bc i had a noise coming from my front end. Found out my brakes were really bad. The last place i took my car to honestly did me dirty and by the looks of it didn’t do their job at all. Kayla ordered my parts right away and they worked on it same day; it was done within 5 hours! I honestly was expecting to leave my car a few days. “Passed by Jimmys credible auto on 9G since moving here from Brooklyn daily and finally needed an inspection and oil change and wife’s car oil change. I didn’t realize the abbreviated hours on Saturday. However, he was gracious enough to take my wife and my Mazda’s and completed both the job within an hour. You can’t ask for more and this will now be my go to repair shop in case we need any repairs. Waiting area was well air-conditioned and Jimmy kept us informed throughout the process. Wish him nothing but continued success but not too much so that I can still get an appointment when I need one. Rich”

“I’ve been hearing this rattling in my Camry for a few months. Took it to Toyota and they quoted me $3000 for new struts, top mount and sway bar. Took it to Fishkill Tire and Auto and asked if they could price me out. Bill said, “Let me take it for a drive first.” Within a few minutes he said, “that’s not the top mount or the struts. I think it’s coming from the brakes.” Lifted the car up and sure enough, the people that installed my brake pads cut them too short. It was the brake pad rattling! $140 and I was out with a car that no longer rattles! They just made a customer for life.”
“Came in as travelers far from home, needing some light repair work. Not only are they the most genial people around, but they fit me in day-of to fix a clogged AC evaporator drain that had ponds forming in the footwells. The next day, they took my van back in to check out the brakes for me. Turned out to be fine, but what price peace of mind? I'll definitely drop by again next time I break down in the Queen City.”

“For reference, I needed a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and a rattle near the muffler addressed (which turned out to be a loose heat shield). I tried to get into two local dealerships to be told I would have to wait a week and a half or longer with no option for a loaner because my required service didn't bave anything to do with safety or they had no loaners available. I called Tom's and was able to get an appointment for a few days later.It was a great experience. My car was done earlier than anticipated and everything I needed done or had concerns about was completed and addressed for a much lower cost than I was expecting. Great service all around and I'm glad to know there's a local place I can go to get service done right without the run around and in a convenient location that I can walk to work and not need a loaner.”
