The General Contactor who’s doing our renovations (Lotus Metropolitan Construction) referred us to Milwood Lumber for our custom doors and we are Extremely pleased.Our contractor alerted that he’s been using them for 5 years for doors and windows with great results. Jerry is our rep and placed our order and all of our contractors orders and he’s very satisfied with their service.

I’ve been going to Millwood Hardware for years. They are not only the best hardware store I’ve ever been to, it is one of the best stores of any kind! The owner is like family. I get outstanding advice, great service, and great prices. What else could you possible ask for? I only wish I could give it 6 stars.And, it’s right next to Rocky’s deli which is outstanding in its own right.

Recently stopped in for a sample of paint and the sales associate was quite knowledgeable and helped color match a paint I needed. Was helped in a timely manner and the staff was courteous. Looks like they have a large array of products and I was happy to support a local business.

I'm new to Westchester County -staying with my brother and sister-in-law for a couple months. They have a favorite pole lamp but unfortunately the on/off switch broke. Trying to be helpful, I thought about how to repair or replace it. I finally went to a lamp repair place which got good reviews but after taking the lamp there, the first thing the person that greeted me said was, "that's an LED lamp. We don't work on those." Plan B was to go to Millwood Hardware store which my sister-in-law suggested because she said she'd had good experiences there. Joe, the employee that helped me, couldn't have been more patient listening to my ideas on how to devise something to be able to turn the lamp on/off. We went through several ideas/items to try but HE finally came up with a perfect solution! This process of trying different things took about 30-45 minutes and when I went to check out, the grand total of materials only came to $1.70. I asked if I could give him a couple dollars for a soda (he declined) and the woman next to him in the cash register area (he introduced her as the owner) piped up and said he's one of her best employees! The entire experience was soooo pleasant and positive that I had to leave this review which is the first one I've ever written! If anyone has any hardware needs and ESPECIALLY if you have a difficult problem to solve, I definitely recommend Millwood Hardware, 235 Saw Mill River Road, Millwood, NY.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The owner and staff are very helpful and courteous. Been going here for 20 years. I have bought everything from screws to gas grills at this hardware store. Forget the big box stores, shop local. It's worth it.

I have been a regular customer of Millwood Hardware for over 30 years. They are expert at matching and mixing paint , they carry a broad range of everything the homeowner and professional might need. The electrical department is terrific , the plumbing area carries most every repair item a person should need.Never once have I ever been treated with anything but respect and genuine kindness by everyone at this pillar of the community. You don't stay in business and THRIVE in a community as diverse as this without being the very best at what you do. If you haven't shopped at MILLWOOD HARDWARE yet, do! And have a look at one of my favorite areas, the fun sometimes funny pick me up items that they offer as well.Thank you to everyone at Millwood Hardware for being the best!

I've been a regular at Millwood Hardware for a few years now. They are a great local store. Staff is always helpful and courteous. I go there for paints, parts and supplies for many of my DIY projects. It's great to have a local hardware store nearby to get what you need instead of always running to twice as far to the HD.

If I could give negative stars I would. Planned on buying a LONG list of supplies needed for a renovation project. Found silicone gloves advertised to collect shedding dog hair. Intrigued by this I checked one out and tested it on my jeans to see if it would work as advertised. Mind you it was not packaged or sealed whatsoever. Immediately I was BARKED at by the employee at the register. "Are you going to buy that?!" I responded actually I am, no need to be rude. Followed by, "Get out of my store." Immediately drove 3 minutes down the road to Melrose Lumber where I was kindly helped by an employee, he even double checked in the back for me for the specific things I needed. Unless you want a bitter experience please don't even set for in Millwood hardware. I Highly Highly recommend Melrose Lumber in Ossining instead.

Everything your home and yard need at any time of the year, with a knowledgeable staff to guide amateur do it yourself... ers. Professionals can get their tools, etc. as well. Don't hesitate.
