“I stopped at the shop today to ask if they could install a piece of window glass in my 2003 truck. Vinny was kind enough to give me the name and number of an independent glass installer and he also called them for me right away. The installer came to my work address within the hour. Vinny, thanks so much for your help! There are not a lot of places that will help out like this when they personally won't profit from the business.”

The issues were communicated to me clearly along with possible replacement parts and their approximate cost. I had requested the work be done before a certain time of the day and they managed to do it well within the time. “I visited them to purchase a battery for my car. Liz was very knowledgeable about the correct battery and explained the way it was made and how it worked. I noticed they also offered jump starters. I requested information on one of them and she informed me it was too much battery for my car. It was a battery more suitable for a truck (I have a sedan) and cost prohibitive for my model. She suggested an alternative jumper at a more reasonable price and explained how it works and its benefits. AND they sell double A lithium batteries! I highly recommend them for all your battery needs and more. It was my 1st visit to them and it won’t be my last.”

“I brought them my absolutely filthy - it's been used as basically a farm truck for two years - little Chevy Spark to be cleaned up before surprising a 16 year old with it as his first car. Even though I hadn't been able to plan in advance and make an appointment, Luis the manager couldn't have been more helpful, fit us in and just a few hours later, I picked up a car that was sparkling inside and out, smelled great (replacing the previous overwhelming scent of donkeys!) and renewed all over. I didn't really have time to do any repairs to the paint scraped off in back after an encounter with the corner of a barn while backing up once but Luis and the gentleman who did the detailing worked some sort of magic that darkened it so it blended with the rest of the car's black paintwork. Couldn't have been happier with the job they did - at a great price. The whole team was friendly and it was just a very positive experience from beginning to end.”

“Yesterday I got a flat tire n pulled into there driveway. They where extremely helpful. Inspected the tire advise me to replace it. Put the spare on so I could be on my way. Ordered the new tire and I returned early this morning for them to replace it. They where all attentive and I would highly recommend them.”
“Tom and Hillside Service workers are good folk for the community. When calling in for service for your vehicle just address your issue quickly cause they are busy daily.
A helpful is to call ahead to come to the shop to diagnose your issue then set up a time to bring your car in for him to look at. Tom was quick to diagnose the problem I had for years that the dealership wouldn’t figure out. Took him one full day to fix my main issue, but he discovered another issue related to the first & wouldn’t let me come pick my car up until the whole issue was resolved. Overall, Tom and others want to make sure you are taken care of, fairly price and I will go back if anymore issues.”

“Imagine leaving work to head home in slacks & shirt around sundown on an overcast, rainy day, to find as you are pulling out the parking lot your rear passenger tire is so low that you are scared to go beyond 30-mph on a 50-mph road. Also imagine you have a 7 p.m. appointment that same day. Add to that, none of the nearby gas stations have a functioning air pump for you to air-up enough to get home. Then, imagine checking online to see if there are nearby tire centers that are still open to get it patched. Well, this was me... yesterday. David (mgr.) at the Lee Road (Orlando, FL) store went the extra mile at a time his store closed and everyone was heading home. Google said it closed at 6 p.m., but the hours recently changed to 5:30. I limp to the store in rush hour traffic at 5:32 to find I was two minutes late. David wrote up the order and came out to help me himself with the intention of putting on the spare and taking the tire for patching so I can make the 12 mile trip home. I would This was generous on it's own because it was time for him to head home, it was getting dark, the weather looked nastier, and in all fairness (despite the change in hours) I was late. Instead, he switches gears and says, "Let me go ahead and take care of this for you." So, instead of holding it to the morning for repair, he plugs the hole, water-tests it, and re-mounts it. I'm heading into the store to pay him, and he says, "Don't worry about it, you need to get home." I mean, WHO does that nowadays? It's these generous acts that gives me faith in my fellow man at a time when it can be argued we see anything but. I head home to my family safe and sound and then to my scheduled appointment. Kudos to David for being a kind human being! Mavis, please hire and train more folks of character like him! It means a lot and it'll come back to you in spades!”
