Montage is a wonderful destination for those looking for country furniture and decorative arts. Many of the shop's offerings are imported from Europe. Haut design and signed pieces are not the focus of Montage. Decorators and those looking to furnish or add to the style the homes have much from which to choose. My wife and I have purchased many items at Montage and visit the shop regularly. The owners are amiable, helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is lovely to look around but to be honest the prices are on the high side I say that as somebody who had a lot of the stuff that was in there, I adore mid-century stuff which I know right now is having its resurgence and is reflected in its price, but I had probably close to 10 or 12 things In there that I both have bought or I sell for a lot less so I find that when antique shops are a bit overpriced it's not fun it's not an enjoyable experience to have no real opportunity to get a deal. There were a few things I even looked up while I was there that were shockingly overpriced So while I understand, as a dealer myself, that a lot of work goes into curating these collections I feel like just 20% less would make this place a place I'd want to go back to but I wouldn't go back unless I just happened to be in the area

Wide range selection of antiques. From furniture or clothes to books and music. They are not cheap though.

Variety of different vintage items from books to furniture and everything in between is there. If you like variety, you'll be like a kid in a candy store. However, I think the prices are a bit on the high side (but not as high as their next door neighbors). For a place that looks like it has not been renovated since the 1950s or 60s, the prices don't seem to be fitting for some things. I'm not saying it's all the vendors but maybe a little reno and sprucing could reflect the prices. Just a thought.

I purchased a vintage style cast iron boot jack for $65 only to find it at Walmart and Amazon the next morning for $28. I called the “Antique Center” and they couldn’t have cared less. I would have thought they’d have integrity and try to square it with their dealer (return or partial refund). Fortunately for me, it was a small purchase but they’ve shown their true colors.

It's so nice having Millerton Antique so close to my job at Northeast Ford. I remember when I first moved here Millerton Antique was one of the first places I checked out. The atmosphere is wonderful

Unfortunately I was really not that impressed. Don't get me wrong. They have a nice selection of Antique items available. Pricing was a tad high or equivalent to eBay prices which I've come to expect. You don't necessarily find a bargain anymore. Nice establishment. I just don't see myself going back. Check it out though, you may find something good.
