Such a knowledgeable and thoughtful owner. You can tell her genuinely loves his products, and selects only the best for his little spot in town. Great selection, and after telling him what we liked, he knew just the wines to lead us to. Have been back several times, and strongly recommend trusting his selections. Cute wine bottle collection in front window, creating that well sipped ambiance.

It is quite troubling that the reviews are overall positive for this shop, However, the reason why it might be is that the owner is very personable and has always greeted me with a smile. The wine tastings they offer is also quite a fun feature to have the option of taking part in.Unfortunately, words can only go so far. I have purchased a few wines here on about 4 separate occasions. Each visit I had informed the owner that I did not mind spending what I must to drink a quality bottle of wine. I typically don't concern myself with the price of a bottle because what is important to me is simply excellent wine to pair with quality food. I made sure to explain this and also gave examples of common varieties wines that I enjoy. Rather than taking these examples into consideration and pointing me toward anything similar to what I'd clearly like, the owner gasped aloud and told me that the prices of the wines I like are far too high. He then continues on to rummage about until he finds just the "right" bottle.Each selection he had picked out for me over my visits had reliably been both of two things:1. The recommendation is terrible.2. The price of the bottle he is trying to sell me will be around $30 and the estimated fair value on Vivino will be about $10.In short, you will get a fantastic used car salesman pitch followed by a terrible recommendation! Though there surely is fine wine stocked here, I'd rather spend $100+ elsewhere where I don't feel I am being blatantly taken advantage of because of my young age.

This is one of my all time favorite wine shops! Everything Chris has recommend was excellent and he will always go above and beyond for his customers. He has a wonderful collection of very reasonably priced wine and the experience is always pleasant. Not intimidating or pretentious like some other shops I've been to.

A special place located in the center of Millerton the owner Chris is extremely knowledgeable on wines and local spirits for whatever food or mood your pallet desires somewhere to come and have a non intimidating wine conv this is the place ..enjoy .

This is a great little wine shop with an excellent selection. While it has a number of pricey bottles, it also has many,many excellent values. I needed to restock my cellar and wanted to buy a dozen bottles of everyday drinking wine but not spend a ton on it. The manager easily found me what I needed with no bottle costing more than $15, max. Everything he chose was solid and I discovered several gems that are now my go-tos.
