I've been using this business for many years. The owner is the hardest working owner of a business that I know. Sharon and Luke are rock stars. Always very friendly. Usually my first stop on Saturday mornings.... a good way to start the weekend errands.Service: Organic dry cleaning

First visit to Unique and it will not be my last. I was referred as I needed some alterations done. I met Mary she is very helpful and her area is well appointed private dressing room. Mary is pleasant and helpful.

DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANING SERVICE. I have NEVER written a review in my life. I brought in a Canada Goose coat and a SAM jacket to be cleaned. The Canada Goose was returned to me completely faded along the edges, which is very upsetting, but I let it go. I just went in and picked up my SAM jacket, which was supposedly sent to NYC to be professionally cleaned by a company that cleans fur. The jacket was returned to me with zippers that are completely ruined (they were black but are now chipped and worn with silver showing through) and the fur on the collar is burned. I went back to discuss what could be done (which at this point presumably nothing) and was given no apology or at least an offer to refund the $60 I spent to destroy the coat. I am disgusted.

Today we called around to find a same day dry cleaners who could clean my husband's suit as well as sew a split seam. Unique in Miller Place was so amazing! They advised that their Setauket location could get it done right away, so we called them and they had us bring it right down. I later asked about the repair, as i had forgotten about it from the last time he wore the suit.. They told me they didn't have someone there today who could do it, she was in Miller Place. I told them not to worry about it, because the biggest thing was his favorite suit be dry cleaned before a big interview tomorrow. I figured worst case, I'd sew the seam for now to get him through the day, but much to our surprise, Unique called us and advised THEY brought the suit to the other location to have it repaired for us! We were so shocked and appreciative. This was the most amazing gesture of kindness. What consierge service! We cannot thank the staff at Unique cleaners enough for their compassion and kindness. You have completely won a FOREVER CUSTOMER!! We also have a wonderful and positive feeling about the interview after this blessed experience!
