Millbrook Family Eyecare is conveintly located. That said, it is not worth it. Eye exam went well or so I thought. Woman who assists with the glasses was horrible. Attitude, not helpful and pressured me into making a decision. Long story short, 3 months after my exam, I finally have a pair of glasses that work. The first frame was a disaster. I got it adjusted 5+ times before I insisted on I a new frame. I was actually told “maybe your eyebrows are uneven”. Nasty comments from woman about this is a one time deal replacing my frames. After picking up my new glasses and wearing them for a bit, I realized the prescription was not correct. I went back to get a recheck. Prescription was way off. Again, Nasty comments from woman about this is a one time deal.

I have been going to Millbrook family eyecare for just two short years, and today's appointment will be my last. Last year, I had no issues. Everyone was kind and helpful. This year I was told that I will not receive my prescription unless I pay a 60 dollar fee. Or purchase my contacts through them. This goes against the "contact lenses rule". I've attached it to this review for others to see. It's nice that they offer you the option to purchase through them. However, every patient should be entitled to all parts of their health record. Including prescriptions as well as the freedom to choose where they want to make a purchase from.

Like the doctor but the office staff is in bad. Took mom there and they could not find her file, it was in the garage. When asked for a chair with arms, was told "we don't have any",so you make an 80 year old handy cap that can barely walk stand. The doctor went into his office and got a chair. When ordering glasses she felt pressured into getting things that she didn't want. Brought bad glasses because they were not right and was told very rudely and "you only get one redo so some make sure this is you want ". Will be looking for a new eye doctor.

Janet helped me get used to my contact. she was so kind and patient. Dr. Cohen listens to me and helps resolve issues. Easy to get appointments.

Terrible service; no follow up. It's gone on for years and I put up with it because of the convenient location. Now I'm finding another provider.

Terrible service. No follow up. I put up with it because of the convenient location, but I have to find a better provider now. It is just regularly a hassle to deal with these people.

I'm not sure how anyone can give this office a bad review. Dr. Peryea is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. I work as a secretary in a hospital and work closely with a lot of doctors. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Perrier since she was four years old before he ever owned offices she is now 15. Because of her eye condition she has seen many many eye doctors including pediatric ophthalmologist in Slingerlands in Albany. Even though many people would think it would be better for her to continue to see an ophthalmologist rather than A optometrist that is not the case. He has been the only doctor ever that has had concern for her as a patient rather than concerned for what is in my wallet. She is kind of a sickly child so that also includes pediatricians and other specialists we have seen -We will follow him no matter where he goes. Under his care her condition has been managed better than any other. And as far as the office staff they have always been pleasant and done what they can to

I went in for a checkup and got new glasses ordered. This was before Christmas. Here we are 7 weeks later and I called to inquire about my new glasses, and found out they hadn’t even been ordered yet. They claimed it was a problem with my insurance, yet no one from the doctors office or insurance company let me know? No. They just didn’t order my glasses.and when I asked about this they said “we will get right on it”. Now a week later I can’t get ahold of anyone. I am not happy.

I made an appointment for my child and was told the cost of the exam was $85.00 with no insurance. We arrive for the appointment and was told they only take the patient to the prep room. The patient is a minor and is taken to a room alone to be prepped for an eye exam with parent to sit in waiting room. When it was time to pay they informed me it's not $85.00 it was $135.00. When I asked why there was a discrepancy with price she informed me it's how the doctor codes the paperwork. I would never reccomend this business to anyone.

I highly recommend you do not go to Millbrook Family Eye Care. The staff are rude and not at all helpful. It was extremely difficult to get my prescription after I was told it would be emailed to me when I called to follow up I was called a liar and told that nobody ever said that. I finally had to send my husband to get my prescription for my appointment in the morning. this comes after waiting two months for my two new pair of glasses never received a phone call or any follow-up from them...

I went for a eye exam and new glasses September 15th, it has now been almost 2 months and still haven't received my glasses! I have called multiple times and have gotten nowhere. Considering how nice the staff was upon my exam, I'm just blown away by how this is turning out.

I have been a patient at Millbrook Family Eye Care for the past 15 years along with my entire family. I will NEVER, EVER step foot in this office again. They are the most unprofessional, extremely rude people I have ever encountered with Dr Peryea at the top of this list. I had ALWAYS had wonderful experiences with the former Dr. Krall and Dr. Brandon. It is so very sad to see what has become of this practice since Dr. Peryea took it over. Shameful!!!!!! (and this place does not even deserve the one star that I gave them, but I have no option)

They don’t answer the phone.....ever..... it’s really unprofessional. While I was there two people came in complaining of the same thing. They don’t call you when your glasses are in, been waiting almost two months.

If you want rude, unprofessional service, than Millbrook Family Eyecare is the place for you! This place has gone downhill since Dr. Peryea took it over. His staff and himself are the most discourteous, incompetent nasty people I have ever encountered. I have been a patient here along with my family for the past 15 years and have always had the best experiences with the former Dr. Krall and Dr. Brandon. I will never step foot in the office again. So shameful what has become of this practice, Dr. Krall is probably rolling over in his grave!!!!!
