“My husband and I took a weekend trip to Cooperstown back in October, and the stay was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were warm and accommodating. We stayed in a room upstairs in toward the back of the house, simple and clean, but bathroom was nicely updated and the shower was great. The dining recommendations and places of interest information that they shared with us ahead of our stay was so incredibly helpful. The location was perfect, easy to walk to the main street, even on a cool rainy day.Thank you for a great stay, highly recommend!”

“Great course. A real challenge on a perfectly manicured layout. Interesting hole abound. Everyone should play here at least once. The 18th hole alone is worth the price.”

“Beautiful, eloquent, one of a kind service. The kindest most attentive staff, our stay was so magical. We had a stunning view, took advantage of the in-room add-ons, enjoyed the spa and Hawkeye bar and grill. I can’t wait to return, I would recommend over and over again. Dawn/Lindsay in concierge and Shawnee at the spa were beyond wonderful, every staff member was. Best facial and massage. The bottled water was so good. Every single thing was unique and thoughtful. The fruit and cheese plate was delicious. Great local ingredients. Turn down service with reading material and otesaga chocolate. Just a wonderful experience. I wish we had gotten married here just based on the magic of being a guest.Rooms: The nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, old world charm.Nearby activities: Walking distance to the village of Cooperstown, the baseball hall of fame. Next door to a beautiful course and located directly on the lake with walking grounds. Down the road from the fenimore art museum and farmers museum. Perfect location.Walkability: This location is located two beautiful blocks to the Main Street.Food & drinks: The Hawkeye bar and grill is delicious. We’ve eaten there on numerous occasions and have always been pleasantly surprised by the inventive and eloquent menu.Noteworthy details: Custom water, cheese, and chocolate all of which were amazing. Lake views, large spacious eloquent rooms with European charm. Large bathrooms. The hotel building is stunning. The kindest and best staff I have ever met. I felt lucky and special to stay here. “I will admit I was a bit apprehensive going in here after reading some of the reviews, but honestly I don't understand what most of those people are talking about! The room was more than large enough, I mean its not the Ritz, nor is it trying to be. It was a clean room with a comfortable bed, an even cleaner bathroom, friendly staff, free breakfast that is pet friendly for a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?I was up visiting family for Thanksgiving and needed a place where I could stay with my dog. The Quality Inn is the only "Pet Friendly" hotel in the area. They also weren't price gouging for the holiday. My dog was happy to wonder the property and I slept great. And while I was there with my car I did happen to notice the Truck/Bus slots at the far end of the lot which I appreciated since I am a tour bus driver. However, I would suggest entering and exiting through the large lot between the hotel and the gas station as the slope is safer so you don't get hung up.The only suggestion I would offer is updating the vending to accept credit cards. The drink machines did but the snack machine did not. But this is a minor issue and I would not take a star away for it.All in all I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again”
