Workers are so incredibly rude and don't even acknowledge your existence. They're bothered that you're even there.

could spend hundreds of dollars there BUT they are EXTREMELY UNDERSTOCKED. STAFF is very low and often there are ling waiting lines. New Staples app is hard to use. It seems that they are really trying to go out of business. Recently with about 20 people waiting there was only one person in the copy/ship center. Instead of helping people in line one clerk just slowly taped up Amazon returns. Some stock has been vandalized and not corrected even when reported to employees. Employees also do not seem to be able to put stock in the proper places with the result of expensive items being put in bulk under sale item tags. Corporate seems to be out of stock on many items as well so one can't even place an order there. IS STAPLES GOING OUT OF BUSINESS?

Honestly I used to love going to this store during my college days (5 years ago). Now it seems like times have changed already and people can't seem to help you. The only nice person was an older gentleman who was trying to organize the shelves all by himself. Other than that, the checkout guy I dealt with looked like he didn't even want to work. After he finished ringing up my items and taking my money he just gave me a look, so I just left while returning the favor. Oh well

This location is severely understaffed. The few people who work there are very friendly and helpful. It's incredible that they don't become completely demoralized with the lack of support. The last associate I dealt with, who I believe was named Shayna, was wonderful, but she was carrying the work load of at least three people and trying to help several different customers at the same time in the copy center. This location would improve significantly if it had more staff in the copy center and the store in general. In my experience, it's pretty much impossible to find anyone on the floor to answer questions or get any kind of help.

The store is a disorganized mess, no help in the isles and cashier, lazy and not courteous.

Waited by shipping for assistance and watched as the associate, Chris, never acknowledged. He then proceeded to assist two customers who came up to the counter on the other side after I had been standing there for about 10 minutes already. Had to get another associate to help since Chris had no intention of assisting me.

When I walked into the Middletown Staples Copy center there was a very long line. So long, I almost walked out. But The two staff members, Shayna and Kris handled the customers with amazing patience. Unfortunately it is no longer common to see retail associates smile and act calmly since most of them are overwhelmed and overworked. Kris and Shayna clearly and nicely worked with each customer. They even had to manage an evacuation as the fire alarm system in the entire shopping complex went off. If you use this Middletown Staples for copying, printing, etc. know that their team works hard. Show them some patience. It’s not their fault when computers don’t do what we want them to do. If you are looking for good customer service go there and ask for Shayna and Kris.

I came here to drop off packages, they receive UPS and Amazon drop offs in different lines. The man at the print center was working hard trying to get everyone taken care of. The associate at the checkout by the door could've been more informative about whether or not and how to get cash back on a transaction. He mumbled incoherent instructions and it turned out, you can't get cash back at this Staples location. I figured it out on my own. I did not do any printing orders here but it sounds like their print center is a mess and poorly managed.

11 days, and 3 trips to the store later, I had to cancel my "next day" business card print order. The first time I was told that the "card cutting machine" was out of order. Okay, I understand. But, I was assured my order would be ready and was placed on top of the (I'm guessing imaginary) queue. I waited another 4 days, went back to the store, and was then told "oh, our cutting machine was down last week." I was given the option to "wait an hour and they'll be done" (it was at 7:00 PM), but I told the staff I'd return in the morning. Not able to return until today, 4 days after the last interaction, I waited 15 minutes in line to be told "we ran out of the special paper, and we sent your order to a fulfillment center." Too many stories, too few employees, and even management lied to my face. I would have appreciated a call or even a delayed email. I used to spend a lot of money getting business prints done at Staples. Never again. I canceled this order, and will finally be receiving my business cards from elsewhere within the next 3 days. A total of 4 employees gave me 3 different stories. At least be honest.

Was promised my SMALL BINDING order from LAST SATURDAY today at 1:30-I went in at 1:50 pm and they asked me to come back in an hour—I called at 5pm and they said can I come in an hour because it’s not done —I spent 10+ minutes on the phone w them and I’m furious their customer service has tanked. I guess “do more with less” is their new motto

I ordered 25 cards. They weren't ready by the date quoted online. I went the next day to pick them up, the print center told me to come back in hour. An hour later, they said it would be 20 more minutes. If you need it in a deadline, I would try somewhere else.

I usually get my supplies on Amazon. I'm in the middle of a project and wanted it right away. So I figured I would try Staples. Big, big mistake. I created an online account and placed my order at 10 am. I had meetings until around 1:30 pm. At 1:45 I headed to the store on my way to pickup my granddaughter from school. In the store I waited patiently at the counter for 15 minutes. Then went to the register and politely asked for help. After some more time I had to leave to pickup my granddaughter. Called the store while I was in transit. Took them 20 minutes to answer asked if They were still backlogged they said no. Returned to the store waited again only to find out the order hadn't even been picked. Left and cancelled my order. I won't say I will never shop there again but they will be my last choice.
