Love Sam's Club but my hips and feet do not like their floors. They really need to do something about the floors. I know they probably won't since they've been like that for years, but those floors kill my hips and my feet. Sam's has everything you could possibly need in bulk, clothes, books, toys and decor. It's a one stop shop! Some prices are a little expensive but the good thing is they do accept coupons. They have cheapest gas prices around too. Many times there's a long line wrapped around the gas station of people just waiting to get gas. Especially during covid... it was insane!

We decided to use Sam's club to order our Christmas cards this year and paid for expedited 2 day shipping. After 4 days we had yet to receive our order and contacted Sam's club for resolution. We were advised the order was shipped that day and we would receive in a few days. For compensation they emailed us a $10 gift card to use at Walmart. Shipping was $12 and we get compensated with a $10 gift card to buy more things from them? What a horrible resolution to our complaint. However, I wish that was the last of our issues with this order. We received the order today and they shorted us 35 envelopes and spelled our family name wrong on all the cards! I sent them a message advising that we would not be utilizing their services in the future..which is the only thing I can do at this point. So..my original review was one star. However I am changing my review because of the following. I received a professional response via Yelp from a Sam's Club rep apologizing for the issue. I replied to the email trail I had going with their service department also explaining the problems with my delivered order. The rep replied advising I would receive a 100% refund for my order. I am very surprised on how fast their service department worked and was very happy with their proposed resolution. I am used to receiving horrible service from large companies and Sam's Club/Walmart is one of the biggest in the country. I am very impressed and would love if other companies would take as much pride in their service as Sam's club does.

I was fitted with a pair of myopia glasses here, but they were uncomfortable to wear. They refused to replace them for me. Later, when I went to another store to get glasses, they said that the interpupillary focus points of these glasses were one above and one below, not in a straight line. ! I have nothing extreme about this optical shop. I am objectively stating the facts that have happened!

Had the most horrible experience here . I saw the dr. On April 2021 . He wrote me a new glasses prescription and I didn’t have them filled into came in sept . 2021 ( since I already had contacts which script did not change) . I picked up my glasses on sept 18th . I put my glasses on while I was there and felt that it was a bit strong but seeing that this was a new prescription in the last 15 years I felt that it would be an adjustment so I thought nothing of it. I usually wear my contacts more than glasses so didn’t really wear them in the months of September October November however towards the end of November my eyes was tired from wearing my contacts .so I started wearing my glasses exclusively.However toward the middle of December I started having horrible headaches, really bad eye fatigue and pain and was just overall sick because my head just felt so heavy. At first I thought it was something else and see my personal doctor around the end of Jan because I couldn’t take it anymore and thought something was really wrong with me and my personal doctor then asked how long i had my glasses and I gave her the up-to-date version that I had just received them not too long ago. And she advised me to go see the optometrist and have my glasses checked. So I went at the beginning of February to see the doctor at Sam’s Club (Dr. Nathanson) who originally prescribed me my lenses and long story short he took my glasses just to check the strength of them and realize that the prescription he prescribed me was not what was put into my glasses but something way stronger . So all that time I was wearing the wrong prescription and it was causing me to be ill. Now coming to present day I’m still waiting for them to correct this issue it’s been over a week now they’ve had my glasses and I can’t even wear my contacts anymore because I feel because I wore the wrong prescription for so long that my eyes adjusted to it that my current prescription is not even working for me now . And I feel like Staff and dr couldn't be bothered with me. I couldn’t even get a new exam to check my eyes because the dr said “ I’m not due yet “ . Meanwhile I can barely see and feel my coming tact’s are screwing my eyes up even more . Thankfuly I’m making an appt with a new optometrist to check my eyes and see where they are at now because everything seems blurring and it’s a scary feeling . This is the most horrible experience I have every went through and I haves been wearing glasses for 30 + years and Ill will not be back here. I honestly do not trust them to look at my eyes again. Hopefully this helps somebody else and if you do pick up glasses “HAVE THE DR CHECK YOUR SCRIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE” .

I recently became a member here and so far, I've enjoyed that membership. I can definitely see how someone might get carried away here to the point where they're not saving THAT much money - but if you're smart with the items you buy, it's absolutely a steal over the regular grocery stores - especially right now. I've been here three times so far in the past month or so, and each time it's been mostly well stocked, always clean and organized, and the associates I've encountered have been friendly, polite and helpful. I haven't paid much attention to any of the fresh produce, meat etc since I am focused on stocking up on non perishable items in bulk, though we did try their bake shop cookies recently and they were quite good :) Overall, I'm happy with this Sam's so far. The only things I'd change are the cramped parking lot (when it's busy it's tricky driving through here) and the long lines at check out. I do have to give credit though, they have a good amount of self check outs which, when I've been, have all been in working order, and do make checkout faster if you don't mind scanning your own things.

Use to be a great place for examination and follow ups. I had an eye exam in February 2021 and now is july 26 and still trying to get the correct contact samples in order for me to order contacts. Its ridiculous i have been calling for weeks and no one answers the phone had to call customer service and complain to get the sample and that was back July 7th. I do not recommend anyone to go in for contacts since I can't speak regarding regular glasses.

Anymore when I go there, the employees are not very friendly at all. Especially the ones behind the service counter. I had to use it the other day and the girl doesn't even say hello, can I help you, nothing. She just pointed to where if I should stand. They are so lucky that there isn't a BJ's or something else around because that's where I will spend my money. 5/12/18. Again, I go in there and the most unfriendly crew you can imagine. It's closing time and I understand they want to go home. But nothing, not a thank you for your business, not take care, nothing. and don't forget I'm the one spending money. they are ridiculous. I cannot wait for another business like BJ's or Costco's to move into Middletown. And eventually they will. I will be taking my money there. Also I want to add on the way out they check your receipt and they scan an item. There's one lady that is always checking your cart on the way out. she's the most unfriendly woman I ever seen in my whole life and the last face you see in that store, again I can't wait till something else opens up. I just hope Some of the employees at the store run and get a job there.

This location is pretty good. My major issue is the wait time. Sometimes there may not be enough registers open or even a wait for the self check out. We do find what we need and appreciate that things are in bulk size. The hot food you can order is a good deal. They serve hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, churrios (in theory- sometimes they are out of certain things). On the weekend I have found there to be many samples available to try which I appreciate. There has been one particular item I have tried to find on multiple occasions with no success. One time I was able to find it but it seems this is an item that is either not regularly stocked or not that common because the staff although they tried was not able to locate it for me. We do shop here pretty regularly with no major complaints.

Of all the locations that I visited, my local Sam's is the worst (Wallkill, NY). The customer service is horrible and leaves you with a very bad impression from the many times that I have had to do business with them over the years at the CS counter. Maybe the first couple of years from when they first opened was the best customer service they offered, but, they quickly went downhill. I am made to feel like I am a inconvenience or made to wait while private conversations are being discussed. In general this store has the worst wait times at the checkout which I feel is to nudge customers to use self checkout, like what Walmart is doing. The selection of products has dwindled down, I am surprised to see how much compared to other locations I visit. It appears that local management has dropped the ball on many things and is producing a very negative experience for the paying member. One experience was looking for an item, I finally got up enough nerve to interrupt a conversation circle at the checkout line to ask and was given a quick point in the general direction within the store.

I found it horrible that there are four electric scooters for handicap people that are out of order on a Saturday afternoon. That totally killed our experience. The whole point of coming here today was to take my elderly handicap father shopping for some groceries and we couldn't even do that. One employee told me to go check on the other side. I had already done so and told him that there aren't any. I was then told to just sit and wait until someone brings one back. There was no attempt to contact a manager or page anyone to see if there was anything else available.

I purchase all my tires at Sam's club Middletown. Juan is very professional and knowledgable. He goes out if his way to help you. He is very patient and won't rush you into something you will regret. If you need a new set of tires see Juan you won't regret it.
