So appreciative of the ladies in the cat house I talked to today! I found a sweet little kitty abandoned in a parking lot and they were so ready and willing to give this little man a roof over his head. I don't what I would've done if they weren't so incredibly helpful!

Would rate them higher if I could! We had the pleasure of adopting yesterday with Alive Pets and enjoyed the experience! Very nice and professional staff, truly made us feel like they cared about placing dogs with the right families! We love our Pilar, and appreciate Melissa and the rest of the staff who made it possible for us to take her home! If you’re looking for a great place to adopt, this it is!

The ladies that work here are horribly rude to customers, even before you can utter a word they are just so angry that you are in their presence. Praying for the animals here. Would give zero stars if I could.

I put my dog Josh in the care of Pets Alive a little over a week ago. I visited my dog several days later. I visited again yesterday. This second time, I was not allowed to see him. There was no explanation why. I am seventy years old, and my dog is an emotional support animal documented by two mental health professionals. This refusal by staff member Ryan is unjustifiable. Pets Alive is neither a sanctuary for animals nor a civil place for their owners. Stay away.

I had a terrible experience working for and volunteering at Pets Alive. Extremely low employee morale, neglected dirty buildings, blatant (and protected) harassment by managers, pettiness and bullying from management and a Board of Directors that literally DOES NOT CARE what goes on at the facility make this organization a very unsavory place to be involved with. While their mission is noble, I unfortunately cannot recommend becoming involved with Pets Alive under its current administration. Very sad, the animals deserve so much better.

Wouldn’t even let us see the dogs in the shelter. We wanted to adopt but they made a huge deal about us already owning a dog???? I wanted another dog for our 7 year old schnauzer we had since he was 6 weeks old. I don’t understand their process. Our fur baby is well taken care of. Hope the dogs find good home and don’t have to live in a shelter forever.
