Love PetCo in Middletown NY. Staff are always polite and helpful. They have a nice, wide variety of fresh water fish, live plants and healthy too, Always find my needs for my fish tanks. Thank you. ?

Love that store! I brought our new puppy Pineapple and every employees loves to see Pineapple! Our other dog which is senior and Cinnabun don't like to going to Petco because he knows that we have to take him for nail trim ?

The staff at this Petco are so friendly and knowledgeable. Their aquarium department is awesome and the staff there are not only really knowledgeable but enthusiastic about sharing information about the fish, plants, water, and all things fish related. Thanks everyone!!!

Not Petco lol. It's now Aspire, brewery, restaurant, games. It's popular. Don't go here for dinner because they had only 3 dinner choices. Sure lots of other choices but, 3 dinners. We thought more could have been done to reduce the noise. There was a few people for trivia that just made it horrible to enjoy drinks and food while talking. Some don't understand indoor voices apparently.

My wife and I purchased 2 small fish with our children at Petco. Employee Samantha collected the fish and checked us out. I asked her questions prior to us checking out such as which type of food would be best, she could not have cared less saying any tropical pellet will do just trying to move us along to the register. Both fish were dead by the next morning. We went back with the dead fish the next day to exchange the fish. When we arrived we approached Samantha who was at the register explaining that the 2 fish had died less than 24 hours of purchasing them. She immediately said it was our fault the fish died. We said we would go back home to get the water for testing however she said she heard us say to our 6 year old son that we have a new tank at home when he pointed that he wanted to put these little fish into a giant tank. Never have I ever experienced such poor customer service in my life. We then spoke with a “manager” who said Samantha heard us say we had a new tank and that is why we killed the fish so there was nothing they could do, which was not even true she misheard. We left the store and purchased new fish at PetSmart. The 2 employees need customer service training.
