We stopped in with a question about our current hottub and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Not only were they very knowledgeable but willing to spend time listening to us and offering their expert advice. I would highly recommend Northstar Energy for all your hottub and wood stove needs!

I want to thank Holly for her personal touch in helping me to figure out a problem with my new gas fireplace. She was willing to assist me--going out of her way to help--even though I had not bought the stove from North Star. She provided the personal service tough that is rare these days.

ON 2/10/24 I WENT TO NORTHSTAR FOR THE FIRST TIME TO GET A REPLACEMENT GLASS FOR MY WOOD STOVE. I MET HOLLY AND SHE EXPLAINED SHE DID NOT CARRY MY BRAND, BUT REFERRED ME TO ANOTHER LOCATION. IT WAS SUCH A PLEASURE MEETING HER AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

Northstar replaced our propane fireplace insert. We are extremely satisfied with the new unit. The installation was done by very qualified employees who left our family room very clean and provided us with directions on how to operate it. A pleasant experience from sales to installation. We had an electrical issue in mid-January and our Hot Springs tub was out of commission. We called and left a message on Monday when they were closed. Received a call back within a few hours and the service manager helped review the problem and possible solution. Gave me advice on how to keep the unit from freezing at 10 degrees, and then had his repairman there Tuesday AM. Great service, very professional, and serviceman was top notch! Great services!

Extremely professional and helpful. Not only do they offer great products, but their personnel are extremely knowledgeable. When I moved to a new house with a Fireplace Xtrodinaire I called asking about maintenance, and had questions about possible issues. They were nice enough to give me advice on how the fireplace should function, and it helped to get it lit and not have any further issues.It turns out also that they were the installers of the unit with the previous owners and were nice enough to write a letter noting they installed within the proper manufacturing specifications for an insurance company giving me a headache.I highly recommend them for their fireplaces, accessories, and services.

We didn't realize how many factors there would be in selecting a stove for our new home but Holly walked us through all of the considerations, from location, remote functionality, propane conversion, leadtime and even aesthetic. The timing was also a serious factor as we needed to get heating installed before the pipes froze and they fit us in their workflow which was much appreciated. Marc and Holly were both extremely patient with all of our questions and made sure that we were well informed. We even had an issue with the remote not syncing after install and they hopped on a call immediately to help us fix the issue. I can't stress how rare this level of customer service is these days! On top of that we feel safe and relieved to have a reliable heat-source, even when we're not home! Definitely recommend going with this team, as their knowledge and involvement from start to finish is priceless. Thanks again!! M + I

We first used Holly and Northstar about 15 year ago when we purchased our first hot tub. We moved to Florida and then returned years later. We knew we wanted another hot tub and went back to Holly. Our new home had a lopi gas stove that the prior owner tried to fix, they got it up and running and safe to use, We also purchased gas logs for a fireplace. We highly recommend Holly, Ray, john and other Northstar employees. Our go to people for hot tubs and gas stove, we trust them and feel they always have our best interest at heart.

Purchased a Lopi Deerfield pellet stove. Ray and Holly were very helpful with clarifying our uncertainties in the showroom whereby we felt comfortable in purchasing. Their consultant, Joe, had a nice, pleasant demeanor during his visit and in follow-up planning communication. The installers, Michael and Brian, were careful about not making a mess throughout the process, there was no sign any work took place after they left, they cleaned up perfectly. They were attentive and playful with our two pooches who kept annoyingly checking on them which indicates to me they’re nice guys to have represent your company :) Michael did an excellent job explaining the operation of the fireplace, very thorough.

Northstar did a wonderful job installing our wood burning fireplace. We only used it for one season before selling our house, but it was absolutely the warmest coziest winter ever! Will definitely be calling them again for work in our new house.

I just want to specifically thank Holly who answered and guided me with the installation of my pellet stove in which I purchased from somewhere else. In hindsight I should have purchased the pellet stove from Northstar for they have better quality and better looking stoves. I only wish that Holly and Ray's customer professionalism and integrity would be contagious with any other businesses.. You have a faithful customer here!! Thank you ?

Northstar Energy is the best! I got my Lopi Fireplace from Northstar and everything from purchase to completion was amazing! Holly is super helpful and everyone else who works there! I had to buy a stainless steel chimney from them as well, and Holly had so much patience and was so helpful through out the whole process of designing it with me. I installed it all myself and had called multiple times with questions and always had the answers and help! Amazing store and people! I highly recommend!
