In a day where mom-pop pharmacies are a thing of the past, it is so nice to find a pharmacy that gives you such personalised care. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the pharmacy runs efficiently and smoothly.

I went to pick up my favorite pack of 12 Hannaford mini donuts. All five packages on the shelf had a sell by date of Feb 5 when it was Feb 8. Disappointed I could not get any. Watch dates on things here.

I've been going through CVS... Rite Aid... even Sams club for my perscriptions in this area..... hands down, Hannaford is the BEST. If the employees read this.... THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!

on 5/3./2022 I visited this location to make an even exchange of B & M baked beans (canned) I had a valid receipt for the purchase. I had the unfortunate experience to go to Customer Service counter & encountering KARL. I informed that I wanted to exchange for a different flavor. He informed that I would be required to pay the difference in the higher price from the initial purchase. I tried my best to explain that it was the same size can. He refused & told me I had to pay additional monies. I asked for Store Policy/Store Manager neither were available. I told him that I had driven from Pa. & I was 77 years old. He didn't care!!! I asked if there was anyone else I could address this to and he informed me - NO. He stated he was the Grocery Manager. I left the store proceeding back to Pa. The next day I called the store & spoke to the Asst. Mgr. who found this event odd & claimed KARL was NOT the Grocery Manager. He also informed me this was NOT policy. But no apologies. Does Hannaford think I would fabricate a story like this? This happened & I'm outraged. I called the customer service toll free number and they claimed to file a report (5-4-2022). I called back to Customer Service today & there was no record of my complaint given to Tammy the day before. Ben today (5-5-2022) claimed he would email both Managers of the store as there was no record of my previous call the day before. When you get elderly - no one cares - Shame on Hannaford for treating a senior citizen like this. I'll update this post if in fact management gets back to me - but I honestly don't believe that will happen.

This is probably the best overall grocery store in Middletown. It's clean, well stocked, neat, and the associates are friendly and accommodating. I found things in stock here I haven't been able to find in my usual store for weeks/months. The only cons I see are that they're a tiny bit more expensive than other stores, and I find some of the perimeter departments lacking in comparison to other stores (i.e. Shop Rite's bakery has far more fresh baked items; Hannaford's bakery has many more pre-packaged items with less overall variety and again, the prices are a bit higher). Visiting this store made me remember how much I enjoyed shopping there when I lived on that side of town! I'll be back.

I’ve been shopping at Hannaford for almost 19 years. Whenever I walk into Hannaford, I feel so comfortable. They’re like family. Datrice and Amber are my two favorite people there! Great customer service. Quality meat and other products. I’ll never stop shopping at Hannaford.

We came to this Hannafords to use their "To-Go" service. The parking lot is large so there is plenty of places to park and many spaces for the curbside pickup. Unfortunately they did not have the majority of items from our order (5 out of 7) lol and we did not ask for substitutions which is on us. At the last minute as we were waiting one of the items arrived lol so that was convenient. Nice location overall; we would go back.

In this pandemic they have been extremely careless at intervals since the beginning. As far back as Mark not wearing or not properly wearing masks by staff. As of yesterday I was informed by members of management directly that they are not enforcing the NYS Mandate for businesses. Also now with one closed entry/exit. All customers are forced to enter and exit past each other through one 6' opening. They should make it one way in and one way out which is much a safer practice. I'm addition to that now, they also have a table in the entry to promote job opportunities and which is also sometimes staffed by a front end manager which only forces people entering and exiting to push further toward each other to get in and out and causes some wait as there isn't always enough room in the entry doorway to pass through freely. My business has been taken to one of six competing businesses in town that does enforce the NYS Mandate
