Bought my daughter’s dresser here and had it finished here as well. It came out beautiful. It is a solid piece that will last way longer than anything you will find in a big box furniture store.

The store is still open! (Half the store is under renovation) Very well kept store! You have your options of unfinished furniture with all the tools and materials needed if you’re looking for that fun DIY project, and a bunch of finished furniture to take home right away.

I stopped in today to see if I could get a rocker since mine took a p**** I didn't like their selection but I did see something in their catalogs online and asked if they could get it. They said no, unfortunately. But I will tell you I walked around for a moment and they have a very nice selection of really nice Quality Furniture. And the staff couldn't have been nicer. I told him straight out I wasn't interested in the Rockers they had on the floor and that I could get them cheaper somewhere else but that didn't seem to faze them. They all got their phones out and they were all trying to help me find the rocker I was looking for. Only a company that's been around for 40 plus years can have such a testament to excellent customer service. They're going out of business because the owners trying to sell the building and then the business. I bought my first furniture from them in 1987 when they were called Kanan's. We still have that bedroom set from then and even though it's dated it serves its purpose in the guest bedroom of my best friend's house.

Walked in knowing I wanted real wood and made in America but didn't see anything that really stuck out to me. Paul was great, took his time and learned what I wanted. We sat looking at books for what seemed like forever and the last book I found it. Worth the wait! Walked out that day with one small cabinet and a tv stand on order . Came out beautiful!
