The cutest book shop ever! They have so many books and vinyls. They close at 4 so make sure to head there early! The people working there are lovely and very sweet.

The new store hours are ridiculous. Why would anyone want to make two trips in order to donate and buy books on different days? I probably won't be going back. There are other used book stores with much better hours of operation.Pat B.

This bookstore, housed in a sizable, retired railroad building, affords the space for a large number of books, as well as LPs, CDs, DVDs and other media. The variety, organization and accessibility make this a very user-friendly shop, and at crazy low prices, a bargain to fill up a box of, say, eighteen books (including pricey art books, hard-to-find musicology, unique history, and other literary treats,) for a whopping total of $13.50!Note: upon my visit in late July 2021, this shop very seriously required all visitors to wear a mask in the shop. I think it only fair, as the shop is run by elderly people, and they do have their health and their lives to protect.

I have two rules I follow when I come here. I must always bring two tote bags full of books to donate. And I cannot walk out with more books than I dropped off.

From the quirky volunteer with the bowtie who cheekily teases you for donating your old geometry workbooks, to the real life Roz (Monsters Inc) who takes ages to fill out your tax deduction form - this place is staffed by characters straight out of a comic book. Run by volunteers who are either retired or are simply looking for a way to keep themselves entertained, they're not there to provide stellar customer service. They're there because someone needs to be there. They're not getting paid, they don't kiss a*** and they'll take their time because let's face it, I just end up ogling the books other people are bringing in anyway. Saturdays are particularly entertaining because they get a flood of new books, and since they're being sold for a song, that's my favorite time to go. Not to mention how funny the volunteers get when they're overwhelmed with trunkfuls of books dropped off by impatient adult children cleaning out their elderly parents' homes. Then the newer parents with preteen kids often dramatically acquiesce to their kids begging for a 25 cent book, but ONLY, if they unload the dishwasher, finish laundry and clean their room. Smart. The next Pixar movie, with bargain basement book prices to boot. Bring the popcorn, I've got an extra folding chair with your name on it.

Nice, helpful people working there. Great selection of books that are well organized; that's a big plus! Easy to find current authors. Affordable prices for people like my mother that read nonstop. Hardbacks are $1.00 and paperbacks are $.50. So glad I found this place!

Small used book shop where hardcovers are $1 and paperbacks 50 cents, with few exceptions. Books are sometimes well worn, but one simply can't beat the deals/treasures that can often be found. This is the kind of place where regular visits can pay off.
