What a horrible experience dealing with the young lady named Brandy. I walk in, it's 2 girls. One black girl sitting eating her lunch and the other girl Brandy is sitting there in the corner talking to her. My son and I went in and bought a game. That said $18.99 on it . When I went up to the register to pay Brandy told me it was $29.00. I asked her why because I said the price is Different on the box And she said she didn't get around to change the price the price increased I told her she couldn't honor the price that's on the box And she said no . So instead of her doing her job, she rather sit there in the corner and talk to the girl. That's eating her lunch. How do I know she didn't change the price to whatever she wanted to They have nasty attitudes here. If I was the owner I would fire her immediately !!! IWind up calling gamestop. And they agreed with me that she was in the wrong I got the difference back for the game. Thanks a lot Brandy

Place was trashed, employees were rude and high? Register is mostly broken and couldn't scan gift card without trying 10+times. Spent 300 on gift cards and will not be returning to the store for anything in the future.

This employees are so inconsistent, you make a trade the day before and one employee gives you $115.00 cash for the trade, you go the next day and trade the exact same thing and the other employee finds 50 different things that are wrong with your trade, goes out of his way to inspect and make sure your trade value is on the floor and tells you hey I can only give you $30.00 for something I just received $115.00 the day before: then you leave and come back 10 minutes later and the same item you traded in is on display for sale $175.00 but they just offered you $30.00 for it. SMH do not trade anything to GameStop it’s a scam. Don’t buy anything from them either you are better of going to Best Buy and getting a free protection plan if you have a total tech membership. Is a little more expensive but the perks are completely worth it if you buy all electronics from them.

Everytime you call and hit option 1 to speak to a sales agent they always say they are busy at this time please call back later. Call any other game stop and they pick up in two rings. The mall never...picks up.

I had interviewed here at the Galleria store about a month ago with the manager at the time named Brian. He seemed interested in making me a keyholder and told me the district manager would call me within 2 days. It has been over a month and I've heard nothing back.Update: I found out Brian had got moved to the other store on 211. I went over there yesterday and asked to speak to him when he's get a chance. To which he said ok. The dude literally made me wait for over an hour completely ignoring me. While interacting with his co-worker and everyone else. And putting up the normal stuff behind the counter. And constantly walkimg right past me like I was invisible. At which point I left. Cleary they have no interest in anyone else but themselves. Not to mention I also walked there from the Galleria as I do not have a vehicle. Now wonder everyone hates GameStop!

I don’t ever really write reviews but I felt I needed to write one just for this store. I don’t go often but whenever I go to pick up a big release game on a Friday the store is almost always temporarily closed. I’ve gone to pick up pre orders for Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, and Dead Island 2 and every time I’ve gone someone puts a “left at ___ will be back at ___” sign on the door. It becomes increasingly annoying to have to sit around for 45 minutes to an hour just to pick up a pre order which only takes 2 minutes. I believe this store is heavily understaffed hence why this is a problem but I don’t think they should be temporarily closing their store especially on the release date of some very popular games. Other than this their selection of games, collectibles, and funko POPs are really good and I enjoy shopping here (when the store is open).

Gamestop as a company is horrible to deal with. This location like many Gamestops has a high turn over rate of staff but as of let (March of 2023) the current staff is rather friendly. The company as a whole puts high pressure on employees to up sale "product warrantys", pre orders and such. Try to only go to any game stop only if you know exactly what you need and can't get it somewhere else.

Never have games for ps5, guy that is there now 2/14/23 at 11am is too busy talking on his cellphone to pay attention to what the customer is asking for. Poor customer service.

Not really sure why this location is still open. The stock on items is ridiculously low compared to other GS stores. The employees are either half-asleep and totally unhelpful or super annoying and try too hard to sell products you're not asking about. Store never feels clean or organized.
