Unreasonable price hike and an unpleasant lady rep. She made me pack the car one block across the street(which is her job) and then charge me $145 for the 10 minutes it took to park the car for her as been late delivering the car and i was on time. Very bad, she do not care to listen to reasons or to addressed client concerns. she was very rude and indifference to serious issues. I had a bad experience and also at a high price at my expense. Will never rent from there again.

Only one person working the desk so it was slow picking up our rental. They have you walk around the outside to check for any damage but don't check inside, be sure to do that before you leave. Our rental was filthy with mud on the floor.

Printed receipt upon return was $150 less than charge they put through without explanation. Car was filthy when picked up and service was poor. You get what you pay for - so a cheap rate changes quite a bit. Very Disappointing

This is the worst operation, the dark haired woman at the desk with the foul attitude really should consider a career change, customer service isn’t for you.Have an emergency with the rental car and no help to be had, they don’t even answer the phone.You are the WORST

They gave me a car that had a badly damaged front bumper and dings and scratches all over the rest of it. It did run well, but the wipers were so worn that I couldn’t see anything when it started raining. I was driving down the highway in the dark, during a rainstorm, and I was completely blind. It was terrifying.

Why would you allow me to book my car for 12pm on a Sunday if you close at 12 and when I called nobody mentioned that y’all closed at 12 and the lady confirmed my reservation to pick up a rental car Sunday at 12…she literally said that to me over the phone but I get there at 12 to pick up my car and they are close…totally unprofessional

Worst rental company. Don’t make any contract changes after singing because if you try to change a drop off location there are hidden charges

Rented a car and my wife left her purse in the car which was worth over $1000 and over $800 in cash in the purse. Didn't realize it was missing until after they closed on a weekend!! They held the purse and returned it without a penny missing. Trustworthy and honest people. Not to mention I received the car in immaculate condition, clean inside and out, and at a better price than competing agencies. I will be renting from them in the future.

Despite other reviews of this Budget location, I’ve have very good experiences here. The staff is very friendly and respectful. The cars are always clean. Don’t blame this location because they have bad cars because they get cars from all over the place so don’t say it’s their fault that your car didn’t work like it was supposed to when you rented the cheapest thing you could find. You pay for cheap, you get cheap. I recommend this place to anybody that doesn’t complain about every little thing they can. I’m lowering my review of this specific Budget location because they just stopped allowing my credit card for no reason at all. As with any card if your card is declined for any rental charges they will force the money on your card regardless so why say it’s because people aren’t paying? They will be forced if they don’t pay by the credit card company

Please please please don’t rent a car from this agency!!! Customer service is horrible and a scam at this location!!!I rented a car for a day, ONE DAY, returned the vehicle and went on my way. When I looked at my credit statement a few days later, I had a $400 bill!!!!! I called and they stated the gas was 7/8ths of the way filled and they needed to charge a “detailing fee” for the the dirt! I paid $124 with taxes for the car total prior to these charges and then they added these fraudulent charges and accusations!! I have the receipt for the tank of gas I purchased across the street which wouldn’t have used 1/8 of a tank of gas to get back! And if I knew I needed to vacuum I would have vacuumed for 50 cents!! So after spending 2 days and hours on the phone with the customer service department for budget I have to wait for a response in 4 days! DONT RENT FROM HERE! USE ANYWHERE ELSE

The RAV4 we had rented in Bangor Maine had a shudder and a “service needed” light and message, so we stopped in Middletown New York to trade it in. The staff there, Jomayra and Sam, were awesome! Without prior notice (because they were closed when we called the national number the evening before), they got us a replacement RAV4, cleaned and serviced it, and got us back on the road. They were friendly, efficient, and professional. We are so grateful!
