9AM - 5PM
7135 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village“This is by far the best and most efficient post office. The lines are quick, and the customer service is always great. Not too many are ran like this in the area.”
“I love the staff like family and 5 stars aren't enough. I wish people would realize how difficult the year has been for the workers and appreciate their dedication to our community. From October through December they deal with an incredible number of packages. In January they are extremely busy shipping Holiday returns but... in 2020, the pandemic hit and online orders skyrocketed causing them to work at a holiday pace ALL YEAR LONG! Some patrons complain when they show up and the doors are closed but that's only when they are short staffed and the only workers use the time for the lunch break they are entitled to. There's always a sign letting you know what time the doors will open again. If you show up, share a smile and a word of encouragement. They're wonderful people with friendly personalities.”
8:30AM - 4:30PM
1213 Anderson Ave, Fort Lee“This is my favorite post office. There are quite a few to choose from in Fort Lee and in this area, but at this location you always get one on one attention and don’t feel rushed and always get the answers that you’re asking for. These people really are here to help you. So glad it’s down the street from me. It’s such a great part of this neighborhood.”
“After going to the cedarhust upsp and getting nothing done due to the rudeness of the workers I was pleasantly surprised by how professional and helpful the staff was here. Thank you!”
9AM - 5:45PM
93 4th Ave, New York“Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I ship like 10 packages a week with USPS and have never had an issue with this location. There’s a bunch of self service kiosks so I don’t actually need to line up sometimes!”
“Honestly the best post office experience. Im so used to post offices having very rude employees but no, not this one. Everyone is very nice, helpful and attentive.”
“It's an impressive building on 8th Avenue and 34th Street, across from Madison Square Garden, that's built like an ancient Greek temple! It was built between 1911 and 1914, with an annex built between 1932 and 1935.”
“Outstanding customer service received from Cherlie, although the line was long it moved swiftly. Once I got to the window I was greeted with a warm welcome from Cherlie. She was very detailed with her explanations and provided excellent customer service.”
“I want to express my great gratitude to the lady clerk who helped us prepare passport documents yesterday! Thank you very much for your patience and cooperation. She took some extra time to explain us the steps, we went through third party “rush passport”. Clerk explained us step by step what we should do and how to do it. We wouldn’t be able to complete it without her ! She deserves a raise for sure , people like her is a very rare thing nowadays, that makes you still believe in humanity !!!! She knows her job and loves what she does. Thank you soooo very much once again !”
“This is a good post office. It’s neighborly. Employees are nice and helpful. I have lived places where this is not the case. We are lucky to have our gem of a post office!!!”
“This post office has the kindest, friendliest staff and Leslie, who processed 54 very fragile and delicate Save the Dates for my upcoming wedding is A LITERAL GEM! They walked me through the process and always had a kind word or some humor to share. I almost didn't want to post this since I don't want word to get out about how great this place is.”
“This Post Office is my post office of choice. Nine times out of ten, the service is quick, efficient and friendly due, in large part, to Cheryl who has been taking care of customers for years. She is friendly, offers tips on the best way to mail whatever it is you have, yet she doesn't spend too much time chitchatting while other customers wait. They always have a wide array of stamps and mail seems to get delivered faster from this P.O. than many others in the area. The one cavaet is that parking is limited. Also, the mailboxes outside had some kind of sticky material and I know of one card I mailed that never got to the person to whom I sent it. Always take your mail inside.”
“I don’t normally review post offices (why would I) but Cheryl (sp?) was super nice to me in this location so figured she + this post office deserves a shoutout”
9:30AM - 5PM
244 E 3rd St, New York“This USPS gets a lot of flack but they are all hard workers. L. Rotali is incredibly sweet, and was crazy helpful while I struggled to send an international package. He was patient and even lent me his pen, which is rare for post office people! If you're patient, they will be patient too.”
“I have been using this place for several years I believe since they open for business. I have never had an issue and the young man behind the desk has always been professional.”
“Very clean office, excellent customer service. The clerks here are courteous & very helpful. The hours of service from 10:00am to 7:00pm are a big plus for me. Been going to this office on Bergenline for more than a decade. Keep up the good work USPS”
“Everyone I’ve interacted with the past few years has been very helpful and just nice to work with at this post office - feel for the workers building needs a reno!”
7:30AM - 9PM
450 Lexington Ave Fl 2, New York“I have had a P.O. box here for years. I had an issue with my box payment and the associates and manager were very helpful and resolved my issue as fast as they could.”
“They close at 1pm on Saturday. NOT 4pm. I promised the lady I would write this, she also wanted me to tell you that in the history of postal service this location has never closed at 4pm and will never. So go before 1pm because she locks the door because she has places to be and can’t be waiting around for us”
“Although I could not received service because the lime has closed for the service I was seeking, I had a positive experience. I asked a postal service man if he could confirm that one of the items I needed to submit was going to be accepted by the office. He went out of his way and asked another colleague about it and confirmed that it was right which gave me peace of mind and saved me resources. I appreciate his support.”
9:30AM - 5PM
70 W 10th St, New York“Always has a very good selection of stamps compared to other post offices and you can't necessarily count on that in New York City. The clerks are also very helpful with whatever you need to do.”
7:30AM - 6PM
322 W 52nd St, New York“I recently visited this USPS location and had a positive experience with the Asian woman employee (I wish I had picked up her name). She was friendly, helpful, and efficient in assisting me with my needs. She took the time to answer my questions and provide guidance, which I greatly appreciated.”
“I had a very good experienceI had Joy as my cashier and she helped me along the way to ship some pigeons. Definitely recommend this location, yes there is a line but that's to be expected but once you're met at the booth you are done in a matter of minutes! Much appreciated ?? and will return if needed”
9AM - 5:30PM
217 W 18th St, New York“I had my Passport appointment with Veronica and she was amazing. I arrived almost an hour early and she went out of her way to accommodate me early. I had a few questions regarding my application and she explained everything before moving forward with the process. She is very good at her job and I was out in about 15 minutes.Employees like Veronica are an asset to USPS.Thank you for making the entire process so easy.”
“I come to drop off packages every once in a while and have had good experiences. My packages arrive to the destination around 3 days after drop off so very standard and professional. The post office is small, but the clerks work very fast to accommodate everyone. I haven't had any issues so far. They have been lovely so far.”
“I almost didn’t go to this office for my passport appointment because of the bad reviews, but took a leap of faith based on the few good ones. It was fast, and everyone there was very nice to me.”
“Excellent service I went to make appointment for my daughter new passport than I realized this place doesn't have the passport service. But the staff was able to help me make an appointment in another office that offers the service. Amazing courtesy from the staff whom I am very thankful for her help and I really appreciate her so much.”

580 5th Ave Ste 407, New York“Honestly I don’t know why there are any negative reviews for this location. I come here often and every single time I have been treated with nothing but kindness! Especially from Star! Every time I have her as my teller, she’s always smiling and so polite and so helpful! She’s definitely my go to when I go to that post office. I hope management sees my review and gives her the recognition she deserves!”
9AM - 1PM 2 - 4PM
6406 Bergenline Ave Ste A, West New York“So, I just signed up just to leave 2 reviews (compliments) today: for both West New York post offices. This location is the one that my husband almost always goes to for my packages. The woman who is usually at the counter is very good at her job. I'm sorry, I don't know her name, but I've also seen her before when I used to drop off packages myself. The woman doesn't even need to be asked for a receipt- she automatically hands one. I'm talking about for prepaid labels. I mention this because I've lived at 3 different towns my whole life, and this is the only town that has NO ONE giving hassles to customers about receipts. I always need the receipts for proof of acceptance. And, at my previous town (not West New York), the office has lost a package after refusing to scan its label. So, I always had to beg or kind of argue for them to scan them. But not in this post office. So far, 0 lost packages. Over here, the employees, (especially the woman) are very helpful and polite, and don't yell about receipts. I actually hate this town and wish to move, but also don't want to because this is the BEST post office that I've EVER been to, period (and I've visited ones from several different towns). Love this post office and workers! They really work hard and correctly. I wanted to send my thanks to all of them.”
“I mostly drop off prepaid packages. Very quick for me. There’s a lady that comes out the door ever so often and takes all the pre paid packages. But every time I go I notice a line. Due to the one teller working. Other then that, Place is cleaner then the Maspeth post office. Never had an issue with the staff. And street parking is free.”
