Doctor lori is a great veterinarian. She's genuine, She's honest and she isn't trying to rip everyone off. It's not a 24 hr emergency veterinary hospital, They have Business hours and a home life. As long as I have pets, she's our vet.

I recently had an experience at Milton Veterinary Hospital which has caused me to lose my confidence in their care/service. I have two German Shepherds that I have been taking there for over three years. I have gotten all the dogs’ exams, surgery, shots, etc. from them. This past Memorial weekend (Friday) I had an emergency with one of my shepherds bleeding profusely from her mouth. Milton Veterinary is 5 minutes from my house. It was 15 minutes before closing on Friday and we contacted them. They told us that they would not look at our Shephard even though we would be there before they closed.
We were upset but decided to take her to an emergency pet care facility in Latham. As we passed the Milton Veterinary Hospital, we saw people still there and decided to go there anyways as my dog was bleeding heavily. The wife banged on the door and an employee answered. DR Lori was exiting from the back to leave. After confronting her she begrudgingly bent down to look, but did not examine the dog’s mouth. She gave us pills to help slow down/stop the bleeding, pain pills and an antibiotic along with a $125 emergency visit charge. Told us dogs can bleed alot from their mouths and that was the extent of her help. The whole encounter lasted 5-10 minutes.
The problem I have with DR Lori is it was an emergency and they weren't there to help my animal when they could have, and should have as she was under their care.
I expect more from my vet in an emergency! They showed little to no concern. I'm taking my dogs elsewhere in the future.

This is a long overdue review but my wife and I have been bringing our pup Nora to Milton Veterinary for 6 years, and we have nothing but good things to say. Dr. Lori and her staff are always wonderful and truly care about Nora. We know we can trust Milton to provide excellent care. I would happily recommend this place to any of my family and friends! A big thank you Dr. Lori and all the staff there for everything that you do.

Awful Awful people! After a 15 year relationship with this Vet spanning 3 dogs-my dog had a severe infection and they could care less. We will put you in a waiting list. Maybe next week sometime. Offered to sit in waiting room all day just to see and they said no. Asked for a referral to a Vet who could see him and she said call around. He has an infection and needs to be seen. After years of paying a ridiculous over priced vet they treat a sick dog like that! Take your dog to people who care!

I have only ever had a great experience with Milton Vet and Dr. Lori. It’s difficult to find consistent and trustworthy care, and we feel like we have that here. We’ve brought our dogs for 6 years. Visits are pleasant, staff is consistent and incredibly friendly, calls and e-mails are always returned and the care that Dr. Lori has for her patients is very obvious.

I have been bringing my dogs to Milton Veterinary for years. I felt as if they were fairly priced and ethical. That was until yesterday when I called and explained that my husband is out of work due to surgery. We saw Dr. Langdon who did a good job with the examination however, informed us of all costs EXCEPT blood work. The cost of medication is X. The cost of x rays is X. The cost of ultrasound is X. However no mention of the cost of blood work. Could I have asked? Of course I could have but I made the assumption (wrong by me) that they'd been clear on the cost of everything else so it must not be a large enough cost to mention to me. The woman walks in after and says that'll be $340+. I was FLOORED. The blood work was $185. Medication was around $100. I clearly communicated my situation and assumed the doctor was helping me stay within a reasonable cost by informing me of the pricing of everything. I expressed my dissatisfaction after the fact and Dr. Langdon showed no empathy at all. First she called me a liar saying she never quoted pricing until I explained every cost she'd mentioned. She then just said "Oh, blood work is $185? I thought it was $130." I emailed her after I got home and she admitted she checked in with the receptionist who did say I mentioned why we haven't been in for a while but that because I didn't say there was a financial cap, it basically is what it is.I'm not sure what changer but clearly ethics and the family atmosphere I'd grown to love about this practice have changed. We'll be looking for another practice.

Milton Vet is the best! I have been using Milton Vet since 2005 with 6 different dogs over the years. They take the time to explain everything and answer any and all questions. Being a multi dog household I seem to see them often and I love that I alway see the same faces and doctors that know my pups. Thank you to all at Milton Vet for the 5* care for my dogs.

I have been going to milton vet for about 6 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Lori and the staff. Recently my bulldog got very ill and Dr. Lori and her staff were able to squeeze us in for two different sick visits. Dr. Lori listened to all of my concerns and allowed me navigate my dogs care. The staff took the time to call every few days to check up on my dog when things were touch and go. I can't say enough about the care and compassion that comes out of our small vet clinic. If you are looking for someone who will care about your animal as if it was their own this is the vet for you.

Simply the best. Thorough without ordering unnecessary tests. Respectful of pets and their people. Thank you Dr Lori and staff!
